Finally had the time to finish a tournament after a long break. Played R1 & 2 earlier this week and finished last night. I think the break did wonders to my putting, especially on round 3 my putter was on fire. It felt every time I aimed even remotely somewhere near the hole, they all dropped. Long sidehill lag-putt - in the hole. 10m putt to upper tier - in the hole lol... I think I had five of those on the front nine. In the final round I had plenty of chances but didn't take advantage of them, it was my only round over par for a total of -8, really happy with that. This was on my third round I think, on the 18th hole. Went for it in two, but missed it short left. I have no idea how the ball stopped here, but glad it did!

+42 82, 83. 88. 77
Probably going to be my last, struggling to find time for rounds, and just not enjoying it at the moment.

Round 4 was a tale of two cit... sides of golf. Had no feel for the swing or the greens. Missed the green with my second, a long pitch, on the 2nd and chipped in for par. Found the water on the 3rd (?), hit a 9 iron to 5 feet and made par. That's not a style of play that holds up through 18 holes. Bogey after bogey and I had to sit down for a while. Then more straight shots appeared and the pars came. Saw @pakalolo77 just a few shots ahead but making birdies to catch on this course is nothing to hope for on this course. Then he started to drop shots and I was just 2 behind and 8 holes to play. Maybe, maybe... Missed a 5 footer and an 8 footer for birdie and felt my chances were gone. Then I holed a 15 footer on 17 and 18 is the best opportunity, so can I? Hit a hook in the water and that was that. Managed to save par and that can maybe be important with artvandelay having 2 rounds left and just a few shots behind. SimChars1968 had a tough day, but holed a pitch for birdie on the 12th. Looking forward to Spain.

I've had very little time to play this week - started out, but had to quit due to anger on my first round yesterday - and I think I will not complete this tournament as I have little time today as well. To me, this is perhaps one of the toughest course we will play all season. Long, lots of water (which I had problems with on the back nine yesterday). So yeah, this is not my favorite course at all - but it is different, and I think a welcome challenge on the schedule. A different challenge in Spain the coming weeks - more elevation, less water. Though, need to warn artvandelay - rain in round 3 and 4 on Alcanada

This monster did not suit me either, but a lot of luck and what we in Sweden call a “Lidnersk knäpp”. 😁

Played round 2 - new season clubhouse pass got me going tonight. Doing the same as Paul - but my trouble isn't so much tempo, but the pull that I have got back big time. Need to practice alot going forward, and the Titleist equipment give me a reason to play alot now.. So I guess I will finish the tournament..

Your score last week was 30 strokes under your handicap Jeff which is a big improvement. This week was a brutal course. Give next week a try now Xbox has 60fps hopefully it will be more forgiving on tempo.

I am seriously wandering if my calibration has been reset with the new patch. Just hooked everything, annoying as that is my set tempo from day one.
