Round 2 and low expectations. But still swinging fine and putting ok. -3 on the front and living the dream. The 12th swallowed my first golf ball, but hit a 3H out of the 1st cut to a blind green and it finished 9 ft from the hole and holed the putt for par. Felt like @pakalolo77 . Had to sit down and watch a Norwegian beat a Swede in the noblest of the noble sports, table tennis. I hold Norway responsible for my bogey trail that followed. But a level par 72 is for me a very good result. And here comes a shocking confession. I have been made aware that height information in the HUD is allowed. Was convinced that would be cheating and would take away the art of green reading. But I realised that it is very easy to determine uphill/downhill in real golf, so I am using it now. Still blushing doing it though. Going from Hardcore Mike to Softcore Mike. And one less thing I can't blame any longer... And how Tuffguts shot a magic 63 I will found out watching the stream later.

I like the idea of not having elevation info. I suppose panning and rotating the camera for putts gives an idea of elevation. It would slow down people's rounds somewhat, not sure many would be up to having longer pre shot routines. I don't use pin marker which takes a bit of time to get your bearings for blind approach shots.

As long as it can be locked in tournaments so everyone plays the same way.

Second Round in the books. I'd have to say over the entire USE season so far, Tuffguts would have to be my main rival week in and week out. Always look for his name on the Leaderboard. This matchup was close to start. Tee shots in the short stuff is gold this week. He was quite stellar around the greens as well. Flattered to co-star in your latest highlight reel @pakalolo77. Best USE round in a long time for your truly given the course difficulty. Cheers and good luck in Rd's 3 and 4.

Well, then you have to get used to not having a clue on greens in shade, approaches looking like quite downhill actually being uphill. π

Third Round in. Felt better with my swing for this one. Just wanted to put myself in position to get close to Tuffguts on moving day. Really solid front side. Don't think I've ever had to really think with my caddie to make sure we were playing the right shots on every single shot before. This is almost like a European version of Bethpage Black in my opinion. If not even more difficult depending on wind. There are times where you have to play the percentage shot and it definitely got me. Oh how I wanted that 3 wood on 18 Still some encouraging signs of breaking out of this funk. Onward!

I know when you are in form that you have the ability to play consistent and shoot low along with other fellow USE players. Was fun to go shot for shot, chip for chip and putt for putt. Just couldn't keep pace with your phenomenal round that you put in. Definitely going to try to in my Final Round thoughπ Others are also primed to be in position for an interesting weekend finish.

Final Round. Went toe to toe with Green Eagle Nord, still have ten fingers and toes I think (one of Mike's Swedish proverbs ). Well played Tuffguts, Mark and other up the Leaderboard. GL for those left to finish their rounds. Bags packed and onwards to Spain. Need some tapas and Sangria after this one! Hopefully some warmer weather our way too π

Round 3 and back to shorter irons. Had problems with pushing here and there and that's not a nice feeling on this course. Still came in with a par 72 and I have to thank my putter for that. 2 18-19 feet steep uphill holes in a row and no medium putts missed I think. I am nervous on every shot on every hole on this course. -2 heading into the final round.
