Not that is makes a difference - the chart shows my platform as PS4 - I'm XB1...

As I'm asking this, I'll probably get flack... It's pretty obvious, XBOx players with no wins, 2nd place...or even a top 5 (except for one player) have a challenge getting points.
I'm suggesting a friendly point system for the 4 or 5 Xbox active players. Say 5 points for 1st, 4 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd and so on. It'd be fun to have a competition amongst the few of us that are not really in the top 10 week after week.
Just a thought

I know the handicap leaderboard would even things up, but a bonus points system for place on platform would be good. Also - I’m XB for the most part, PC is moving out soon. So is the boy but it’s the PC I’ll miss lol.

Eg - XB winner gets ‘X’ points. PC winner gets X/2 points, PS player gets jack lol.

It's a tough one and I know the platforms are not equal in tempo difficulty. I am curious about xbox, I know it has a tighter tempo threshold. Who here uses the Xbox X and uses a free sync TV? . I think Sam terrence has the X, his scores have improved immensely the last couple of months.

I can match my XB scores fairly quickly on PC when I play, I don’t think the same would be the case in reverse though.
I think the handicap leaderboard will look after it having thought about it for a bit.
Edit - old school XB1. Normal old TV.

If people want to constantly rub the handicap leaderboard in my face, I'll accept that But beyond that, I think changes such as awarding more points to xb1 and PC users would be a bit "controversial." We're all going out there and playing the same course, trying to play our best golf. My understanding is that PC is actually closer to PS4 than to xb1, and it really is xb1 that is suffering from a "significant" handicap here. (I've done quite a lot of reading on this on the forum. Another suggestion I've seen a lot, is that pro clubs equalise the whole issue. I really don't want to play the game with the lost distance, and I've heard people say it's almost impossible to hit off tempo, which sounds a bit wack. I would however be happy to try a test event with pro only clubs? Or a side event, could create a society? The obvious advantage could still be offset by playing USE style? Dunno, just an idea... I'm not putting that forward as something I'm super keen on, but something people might want to try? And I'd take part in the test...

Problems with tv's is latency, some tv's have really bad input lag, couple that with bad framerates on some courses and you are at a disadvantage from a PC monitor setup from that alone. The input lag on my tv is 18 ms which is very good but I really notice the difference from my 5 ms gsync monitor when I hooked up the PC to my 55 inch Samsung. I actually can't play the game anymore on PS4 because when I go back to playing PC my tempo is all over the place. The PS4 needs a much faster action than PC. When I first tried PS4 I kept hitting slow.

I have regular XB1 on a 4K UHD TV - I had tempo issues on the 2019 game early on, but now that I've played a good season and a half on the regular tours along with 3 other societies, but scores have improved.
Tempo issues, IMO, are not 'random' - at least for me. Early on it felt random, but now that I've got the 'feeling' down, I KNOW when I screw up the swing and get a VS or VF Downswing..
Now, I'm still not that great, but my scoring average early on with TGC2019 was around -3/-4 - and I'm now consistently -7/-8
USE and TST is a whole other ball of wax - averaging anywhere between +4 and -4 with an occasional -6 or -7 mixed in..

But then you ruin courses because like TGC1 it is too easy to hit the ball straight it becomes just about distance. I am not even sure I could manage a whole tournament playing them before I'd lose interest . In an ideal world all 3 platforms on master would have xbox tempo. That's why it is important that we bring back the handicap leaderboard where anyone could win each week.

I’d love to play on a level playing field and see if it’s how I think it will be. We could also maybe do a 6 day event and have an 18 hole event on the 7th to see how it played out?

The other thing in favour of Pro clubs is the distances are more realistic, and courses naturally get their teeth back. Our driving distances are way above PGA averages I’d think.
