I finished up R3 and R4 at Losby GK. R3 started off with 3 Birdies then 4 Bogeys. Somehow got back on track. My Mizuno's had the right distance for this course. I was possessed in R4 and finished up at -16 for the tournament. R3 (-2) R4 (-7) Good! Now I know what I have to score to beat you. Probably 54 eagles. Very impressive!

Thanks Wimi! lol, yeah but my score won't hold up to the better players. I have to say it feels nice shooting under par for a change.

I could not follow up the good first round and made some very punishing mistakes on my second round. Hit a bad fade on the 9th and ended up in the small forest.. Water on the drive on the 11th was disaster. Follow up with a three putt on the 12th. Missed too much left on the 16th and was left with a very nasty downhill putt.

Comeback of the year. Not a putt over 5 feet holed, but 3 chip ins. My chip yipes are over. For this time.

I finished Round 1 at -1. Pretty happy with how I played with the exception of two Par 3s where I tee'd off in the water resulting in double bogeys on both of those holes. I was able to battle back and finish well.

Third round was eventful - Par? What is that? Boring.. If I could only avoid the bogeys and replace them with pars.. Dreaming. Played some very good holes - two eagles on 14th and 17th. But also hit water on the 15th again for another bogey even though the par putt only was 11 foot. Never been closer to water than I was on the 13th - but I must admit - I struggle on the 13-14 yard pitches from heavy rough with elevation on 4-6 feet. I either go too far or too short.

Fourth round - solid golf. Annoying to finish with a bogey on the 18th though. And I missed a 4 foot for par on the 10th. Also - @sirwade: Very well played this week. You crushed me

I don't know what happened lol. My 1st and 4th rounds I was playing well. The 2nd and 3rd were my average play I guess. The course plays tougher than it appears, at least I think so. I have gotten a lot better at chipping and pitching. For chipping I use a point on my golfer's leg to help me measure the distance with the back swing. For pitches I use a club that doubles the distance and then I try to swing it back no further than my waist. It gets me pretty close most of the time. For instance if I have a 35 yard pitch I grab a club that is around 70 yds. and then swing it to my waist and let it go. You probably already know this but trying to help out. 😉

My first round was a rather scruffy +3, never got any rhythm going. My card for the second and and much more solid performance bar the last. Strange course this one, deceptively difficult is the best way to describe it! Seems straight forward, but there are plenty of holes that can trip you up.

Round 1 complete, hit driver well but hit a few too many sloppy approaches.Thankfully played the par 5’s well.I think they are key to a good score round this track.@sirwade has certainly put everyone under pressure with that score for the week 👏🏻

First Round in. Good drive on the first. Followed up with a perfect shot shaper draw hybrid around the tree and hit it to 4 feet to start off with eagle. Bounced back after the turn to get some strokes back. Some off tempo shots especially on 15, which ended up in the water off the tee led to one of the three bogeys. Finished the round with a chip in for birdie. Had three of those in this round. Could've been a low one. But a good start as we track down Wade with the clubhouse lead. 👍
