Just a little south of last week - we stay at Losby manor to play the Norwegian Invitational at the east course at Losby Golfklubb.
Both east and the west course was designed by Peter Nordwall and was opened in 1996. The west course is a 9 hole easy golf course. Losby GK has hosted several Norwegian Championships, and has hosted the SAS Masters on the European Ladies Tour.

I have played a few Peter Nordwall courses IRL. Usually very large greens (for Sweden at least). Looking forward to another kjempe nice course.
Also looking forward to re-live my childhood if champagnebrus and potetskruer still exist.

Never been a fan of Nordwall courses. Trying for spectacular without having the budget to pull it off and with little care to the holes actually being strategically interresting.
A bit like Pete Dye but without the talent.

Played first two rounds live with Jeff hoosierhoops24. Was level after 13 holes thanks to a short chirpfest, but played the next 23 holes in epic Valerarian fashion of +7. Onward!

First round was pretty good. Found water on the 15th - but managed to salvage some on the hole. Nice eagle on the 17th was highlight. Three putt on the 10th was poor though from 34 feet.

I'll tell you about the 9th in a few weeks, maybe months, or never. Feel free to make jokes, I can take it.

Great shooting Anders. My practice rounds are not coming close to your score. I missed a 5 foot birdie putt on the first that felt robbed - and the three putt on 10th should have been avoided - but then again, that's golf. So optimal, I should have 2 strokes better on the round - the rest was very solid. Just a fun fact: the course record in real life is 62 (-10).

andersnm I have to say I think this is your toughest course yet. If you get on the wrong side of the greens you have a lot of work to do to get up and down. With that being said I have no idea where this round came from. In all of my practice rounds I couldn't shoot under par. For some reason everything was working and I got a chip in and a nice hole out from the fairway (I'll post in shots of the week).

" And I find it to be one of the easier courses Reachable par 5’s, mostly wide fairways and large greens. The 4th is narrow, and approaches on 1st and 3rd can be tricky if you land on the wrong side. Hole locations vary from easier to hard in how the greens slope. For example the 16th has easier pins back right compared to the left side.

The par 3s over water got to me lol.

I finished up R3 and R4 at Losby GK. R3 started off with 3 Birdies then 4 Bogeys. Somehow got back on track. My Mizuno's had the right distance for this course. I was possessed in R4 and finished up at -16 for the tournament. R3 (-2) R4 (-7)
