I assumed you would get a notification. Thanks and I'll see you on the course!

First round in now. That was as up and down a round could be. Dug myself in a hole to start. Battle back to get to red figures. Then I lost feel with the putter and blew a few way past the hole. I'm normally fairly firm on the shorter putts and play with the pin in. First time it smacked dead center and right back at me. Need to lay off the coffee a tad when I play my rounds I think . Tralee gets you with the phenomenal views of a links ocean course. Must say probably one of my favorites so far. Then you play and it's a whole lot tougher.

Started R1 off with a couple of birdies. Then hit a offline shot on a raised green. Played ping pong across the green and ended with a 5 over par for the hole. I finished R1 with +2. R2 I struggled with tempo. I ended with a +6 for the round. Total for the tournament I was +8. Damn that quintuple bogey!!

Be one with hardy plant life that guards the land from the sea. Breathe in the brisk salt air and drink in the glorious vistas. Find inner peace. There now, that’s better isn’t it? 😀😀

Round 1. What a fantastic front 9 that was. I think I will leave it there..... Would love to go back and play the 10th again, but it is a real difficult hole. That hole apart, got to be pleased with this. A very nice rendition of this great course.

Well, this was a course that I should have practiced before I play tournament on it - but I use these extra tournament as practice, so I do not mind. 18th was quite a short par 5 - would expect this to be a par 4 in bigger tournaments. It was the highlight of my round anyway, with a 46 degree wedge in for a 5 feet eagle. Challenging course if you don't know it - you need to know how the slopes go. I left myself some pretty long putts due to this fact.

Second round was much better, and almost catched up to @pakalolo77. Knew I needed a eagle on the 18th for a tie - hit the fairway. Only a sand wedge in, but left it short right - and didn't make the chip.
