Round 1 in the emerald green Ireland. I'm starting to think the open spaces on the links courses suits my game better and my mind/psyche even better. Played a couple of other courses earlier but had totally lost my swing. Calibrated but was still hooking. But had reasonable control playing Tralee, go figure. A 73 to start with and the most uplifting was that I had no par putt longer than 13 ft. The one that got away was the par putt on the 2nd. Less than 1 foot, hit it and turned my head to something else and noticed NO SOUND OF THE BALL DROPPING! Turned back in horror and I had missed. All in all, happy.  |

Finished Round 1 at EVEN, Round 2 at EVEN.
Total = EVEN
Fun course. Had some nice putts but really couldn't get into any consistent tempo.
I had to buy a new Xbox controller and it feels like I'm playing with a new set of clubs. Still working on getting my feel back.

Forgot to post my scorecard the other day for R2 at Tralee. Another rollercoaster of a round. Battled back after the turn to get it back to Even. Great shooting there for your first round colly 👍  |

I could only wish to forget to post my scorecard. Am I the only fighting a swing tendency (hook for me) and then accept it, aim way to the right and then hit a push slice? That is not recommended on this course and I did it several times. Tried to match davec187 , and did so for 33 holes.  |

Round 2,just 1 bogey which I was disappointed with because it should have been a routine up & down from just off the green.It would have been 2 clean cards at Tralee but 1 bogey in 36 holes is still good for me.Lovely course in the sunshine 😎
