I USE the TM 83 yard LW and it is the biggest shot saver and birdie maker in my bag. I try to lay up to to 80 to 90 yards on short par 4's and on par 5's that I can't make the green. I recently pitched in from 11 yards with that LW with a shot that isn't possible with a chip because of being 5 foot below the pin, also got up and down from 41 yards about 20 foot below the green when missing right on 15 in this weeks tournament. Love the club, have such a feel for it now with partial pitch shots😁 I have also started hitting the 271 Mizuno driver, my FIR and GIR have been really good so far this week. Nice! Yeah I also have a pretty good feel for the really short pitch...like you said on those ones where you can’t chip, those short but steep ones. I think I used to have the TM 83 a while back. Liked it, but just felt shaving a few yards off fit my game better. @pakalolo77 I checked my clubs and apparently I changed my 7 iron since that screenshot. Mine is now 164, but it actually plays 162. What’s up with the 7 irons having the wrong yardage? Strange. Yeah really weird how the 7 iron yardage doesn't play to the correct yardage when you add it to the bag. But when you play a round it's 2-3 yards off. I do find myself having to adjust to a longer pitch swing with the LW around the greens especially out of the rough. Been leaving those a touch short. Just have to put in the time and trust it. But with the full/partial wedge shots and if I'm close to the yardage I need to play for. They are quite deadly.

I had an idea that makes this a little more sim for me. I searched for the PGA Tour Averages Yards by Trackman. This is what I found. So I adjusted my Mizuno club set to fit me while still getting average club yardage (as close as I could get anyway). Here is what I will be using going forward. I have only been using this setup in my career mode. I haven't noticed any real difference in my scores. However, using GOLD irons and a longer yardage LW, makes the short splash shot out of the bunker a little more difficult and realistic. It's harder to get the distance just right. This is something I wanted to do to entertain myself and try for more sim.

The no splash out of bunkers really gives USE that extra challenge, the LW splash out of heavy rough still gives arcade spin out of heavy rough with the 96 yard LW. Rob from TST's 86.64% is crazy high compared to the best scrambler on the PGA Tour last season Daniel Berger at 67.45%. Pakalolo's 77.09% is pretty exceptional and proves it can be achieved with plenty of practice, Tuffguts 65.21% is pretty close to the top PGA Tour players last year. The rest of us are pretty close to the PGA Tour average of 58%. I think this game plays pretty close to Pro scrambling averages without splash shot. www.pgatour.com/content/pgatour/stats/stat.130.y2020.html

i found this video from Sean A. For those that play Pro difficulty it may be usefull. It may also help those on Master as well. I thought it was interesting. I hope this helps.
