Got this lady’s bag at a garage sale! Not sold on the shorter woods, but driver on fairway is easier in this game (not as much here without splash when shot is awful) so I sacrifice distance to get bigger perfect range and more workable gaps. In general my tempo and swing line can be pretty erratic, sometimes I’m perfect after perfect other times I can’t stop with the fast and a crooked pull back left push right swing. But at least I can usually keep it gray with this. My slows are always from paranoia of hitting fast and hardly pushing up as a result lol. I play with a lot of nerves usually so I have to keep things in check with forgiveness to help avoid disasters. I have the same problem with the big gap from PW to 9i. Yeah it’s kinda annoying, but there’s always going to be a gap you hate somewhere and I think this one is the most workable. I have a 127 pitch that I can sometimes use if delofting the PW isn’t an option.

I think there is always going to be a gap unless you choose to not have a driver or not have a short lob wedge. For me having the gap between D and 3W is expected, and I closed my gap between 9I and PW when I went all Mizuno from 3W through all the wedges dropping the PW and only carrying 3 wedges. Have a bit of a gap between SW and GW but for me it is manageable. Of course I am not very good at the game either, so take this at face value.

But I can’t figure HOW you buy it. I right click and an inside window pops up and says PREMIUM, but whatever hit or click it just goes away. They don’t want my money. How did you do it on PC? I had the same problem. You have to make sure the Steam overlay is enabled for PGA2K21 or if you run the game "As Administrator", you have to disable that to get the popup window to work. Steam overlay did the trick! THANK YOY, davec187! The most annoying is not to know why.

I have used flight simulators a lot and there it is only annoying and in the way. Have had it off for years. Will leave on for a while now.

I think your 6I - 3H are too jumbled together. The 4H to 3H also WAY too close, in particular. It’s why I don’t use the same set for more than a couple clubs. Usually there comes a point where it doesn’t make sense and I look for something else. Another example, 189 and then 197? No good, too close. Definitely not a fan of no PW, I would probably kill myself with that separation of SW/Gw/9I lol. Don’t take offense to this please, just an honest evaluation. I would suggest lowering the 211 yardage and working your way down to spread things out a bit more.

let's see.....a scrub like me gets game advice from a player such as booze. So I should politely decline? Ok, now that I cleared that up. Here is the bag I will drag around for a while. Bottom gap is 25 between GW and the new PW. We will see how this goes for a bit.

Interesting to hear some insight on how the best players go about in course management (what you mentioned in the Losby GK thread). Along with club yardages for both full shots and the short game in your club set. Made adjustments to my wedges and then spaced out the yardages (yes similar to yours). Biggest thing I noticed were the pitch shots. Able to take a bit of a longer pitch swing with partials compared to the purple wedges I've been using. A better feel I guess you could say for me at least. And the ability to take a full swing at 80 yards instead of being in between a 75 yard SW or a 86 yard GW pitch shot with my old clubs. The only thing I noticed was that when you select the 161 yard 7 iron (Callaway or the TM). When you are playing a round it shows the yardage at 158.

How do you get the Mizuno clubs? Everything I see is locked as Premium and I’ll be damned if I pay one penny more to $60 game that won’t even fix known bugs and instead spends all its time adding DLC, 90% of which is worthless fluff. Correction: 99% is worthless fluff.

There are slight differences. For example, the T20 wedges are not the same as Wilson Staff - which I use. You get a little bit less distance, lot less shot shaping, more forgiveness and swing plane, and less distance control. These are clubs I would think to change to from the Wilson Staff wedges I now use. The good thing, is that the gold T20 are almost the same as the purple (blue) - so that is just a matter of taste in color and look. The gold T20 are free. The CLK hybrid is also not the same as the Bridgestone - and is another clubchange I would consider because the Mizuno gives more swing plane and forgiveness and only slight less distance - and that is okay for gapping. This hybrid is free - so no need to purchase anything. I can't see there are any equal club to the Mizuno fairway wood either - but the driver is the same as Taylormade Sim or Callaway Mavrik Max. The purple Mizuno irons - JPX 921 Tour - is the same as TGC Zero-Sum 950. So there are alot wrong with the post by SwAeromotion.

I’m not sure what the splash gap is between that GW-PW, but it wouldn’t matter as much for USE anyway obviously since it’s bunkers only.

Having a flop at 40 and pitch at 49 is incredibly useful for me. I love the pitch options using shorter clubs. For USE, the window of fear really isn’t TOO big, especially since I’m becoming more comfortable with 8 and 9 iron chips. I would NEVER, not in million years, even consider a chip with those clubs in tgctours lol. So it’s a learning experience, but fun. But i still try to strategically stay away from the bad yardages, I forget sometimes though lol. Outside of USE play, the 15 yard splash is also money using a short LW. Hmmm, I never noticed the yardage being off for the 7 iron. I think mine displays right, but then again I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t and it just flew over my head. I have to check tomorrow.

I USE the TM 83 yard LW and it is the biggest shot saver and birdie maker in my bag. I try to lay up to to 80 to 90 yards on short par 4's and on par 5's that I can't make the green. I recently pitched in from 11 yards with that LW with a shot that isn't possible with a chip because of being 5 foot below the pin, also got up and down from 41 yards about 20 foot below the green when missing right on 15 in this weeks tournament. Love the club, have such a feel for it now with partial pitch shots😁 I have also started hitting the 271 Mizuno driver, my FIR and GIR have been really good so far this week.

Yeah I also have a pretty good feel for the really short pitch...like you said on those ones where you can’t chip, those short but steep ones. I think I used to have the TM 83 a while back. Liked it, but just felt shaving a few yards off fit my game better. @pakalolo77 I checked my clubs and apparently I changed my 7 iron since that screenshot. Mine is now 164, but it actually plays 162. What’s up with the 7 irons having the wrong yardage? Strange.
