I've pretty much gone with this set for a few months now. The one club that probably changes the most is the 3 wood. Sometimes the Callaway 241 yard for the TM 248 one. For the wedges, I like to flight down or loft up to cover yardages depending on wind direction along with playing partials.

Looks like the TM P 790 irons are a popular choice 🏌️

It depends on which day of the week it is lol. I just can't seem to make up my mind. This is a bad thing because I can't used to playing with a set of clubs. I'm not near my PS4 otherwise I would post a pic. I was using the Callaway set. Purple D, 3w, 3H 4I and the rest silver 5I-LW. I shot great with them at Formsby then I change to the Ben Hogan all silver set. Not sure what's wrong with me! 😜

It definitely helped my game when I stopped chopping & changing Wade but it is fun to try out all the different equipment 😁

I have just changed a bit. I have played with a Sim 5 wood - but I want to try a 4 hybrid to get a little bit better gap between my 4 iron and my 3 wood (Sim 5 wood is 230 carry). I also have changed my irons. I have played the Wilson Staff since the game came out - but I am struggling with my longer approaches, so I want to try the Taylormade as it is almost the same carry, but much better swing plane. Distance Control is a waste.

I kept changing until I had a brilliant idea. Had just played a round with @pakalolo77 and was very impressed, I more or less copied his set and has only changed a few since.

I will never get better if I keep changing.

I've played with this set for so long I know what to do for club and shot type. Just about getting comfortable with your gap yardages and where you want them to be. In comparison to colly's set. His full LW distance I'll use a GW 86 yard pitch. Been playing a lot more pitch and runs when there's green to work with. Rather than flying it all the way. But when I've short sided myself, a full loft/spin pitch with the LW getting it to stop quicker. Pitch shot is probably the most rewarding when you get it right. You've improved quite a lot wimigbg . Keep it up! 👍

WITB Update So I decided to do a little experiment lol. When I played the Kunsangen Kings Tournament this week I used the TaylorMade Purple complete set. I shot the following scores per round. R1 (-3) R2 (-1) R3 (-1) R4 (+4) Total of (-1)Then I used the TaylorMade Silver complete set with all the same conditions as the tournament. I shot the following scores per round. R1 (-2) R2 (+1) R3 (-6) R4 (+2) Total of (-5)So the biggest concern I had was playing in the Very High winds in the 4th round with shorter clubs. I was actually 2 shots better with the silver TMs than the purple TMs in the tournament. So my conclusion is to stay with the silver TMs. I'm sure this will hurt on the long courses with High to Very High winds. Maybe I can make up for it with the better accuracy in other rounds with less wind. I'm not thrilled with the gap between the 9I and PW but I can't change it. We shall see how it goes.

" style="max-width:100%;" alt=""]
I used distance Woods forgiving TM irons and a200 yard HB 3 iron. Personally I can't see the advantages of the distance wedges and short irons as they are too unforgiving. Much easier to hit closer with the forgiving wedges and irons. I would always prefer a full shot from 83 yards up than pitch from that distance as I can hit it closer with more spin. Also playing in the strong wind with a longer clubs will hit the ball higher and be more effected from the wind. Pretty happy with my Taylor made irons and HB 3iron. I think if you don't have big gaps in your clubs you can score well on most courses with forgiving irons and distance wood.

Give me a full LW over any other approach shot. Don't like the longer pitch shot when you get so much spin and control from the full wedge shots. The TM forgiving irons are great.
