Atlungstad Golf - which is my new club this year - and Mjøsen Golfklubb which was my previous club. Just looked up both of those courses. Quite the views! Looking forward to seeing them in game and some Legend match play once published 😁 I am doing changes to Mjøsen Golfklubb on this recreation. The club has stopped to support the back tees, and it is a shame - they didn't last long, and I have made a few of the holes a bit longer in a realistic manner. The course is unfortunately not well maintained; the greenkeeper has removed several bunkers, and this course do not have many bunkers. And I have also recreated some of the important features on the course that is lost: I have re-routed the course to the original routing, added back the water hazard next to the 11th and 12th (2nd and 3rd at the current routing). And this time I have made the 4th (13th) as it was as a par 4 before it was made to a par 3 for safety reasons (too many went for the blind shot to the green). I truly miss this hole as a par 4 - think you will understand why once you see it  Overview of the course (you can somewhat see that I miss alot of planting - also not made the farm fields yet):  |

Very cool to see the plot down. Lots of renovations that you'll be making to the course. From the sounds of it, all good choices in terms of creating the best course and gameplay. Lovely course Anders just as Alcanada is. But these 170 speed greens are more to my liking  . Just hit a -3 starting to play a bit better, think I just need to get some practice rounds in on this course for next week. |

I hope I can start out the same way I started my first round practice today: 4 birdies on the first 4 holes Saw 33% fairway, but I had plenty of first cut that is hardly a fairway miss. I have really got good tempo now. And most important, good tempo on the pitch shots. On that good round on Alcanada, I had all shots in the grey area, and I would think 80% perfect tempo - only grey fast now and then. Still slightly pull on my stick, but inside the grey, so it is not much. Did the same on Silloth, all good tempo, but did struggle to find fairway in the strong crosswind. I do not practice much on legend difficulty any more, because you get bad habbits because small misses are so punishing (the pull swingline I get) - but tempo wise, I would say I mostly stay in the grey tempo also on Legend. Think I am ready to turn off the swing feedback again. |
