Anders, this is a really nice way to do the retaining walls. What brush did you use to sculpt with after you put the retaining walls in? I messed with retaining walls for over 3 hours yesterday lol. I am going to try it this way. At this hole and course, the water is pretty deep, so I use flatten brush page 1 and slowly sculpt in towards the land. Takes a bit of practice. You can see when you are starting to sculpt beyond the floor on the retaining walls, and that is the point to stop - but I always make sure there is no hard land on the walls as that don't look good most of the time. I also need to sculpt a bit with the fuzzy brush on page 4? on the walls floor towards the land to avoid any glips there and to smooth it out a bit. Thank you Sir! I will give it a try! Is the flatten brush on page 1 on the far right. Fuzzy looking?

andersnm , I was taking a closer look at your retaining wall work. In the picture below in the center of the reticule is uneven ground where the land meets the retaining wall flap. Is this acceptable? This is what has been giving me the biggest issue with the retaining wall work. I've been trying to get the ground to be smooth butting up to the retaining wall flap. If this is ok it would make it so much easier for me.

Could hear from the others here as well Wade what they think - but to get the transition to the retaining wall floor/flaps completely smooth .. the way I smooth them out is to make sure it is no gap, and find this to be acceptable. I find it pretty hard to near impossible to not have a little bit of dip without getting a gap. For me, it is more important not to have a gap, than the transition to be completely smooth. But, if you want it as smooth as it can get, work on it - or find a point where you say that "yeah, this is okay". What do you think Wade? paddyjk19, @pakalolo77, nonusehki?

Thanks Anders, yes, In my opinion , I find it acceptable. I can't seem to get the transition perfect. On a real course the ground isn't always perfectly smooth anyway. I agree with you that it is more important to make sure there is no gap.

Sorry, I don't know if I have any helpful tips, but I remember struggling quite a bit with this, no matter what I did I couldn't get rid of the gap next to the wall. In the first picture (next to the bridge) the gap between the playing area and the wall isn't so severe, but you can see the ground under the water. In the second picture the underwater area looks a lot cleaner, but that then left a bigger slope between the wall and rough. I got "lucky" in a way, because in real life there is some wild rough growing next to the wall (although not quite as tall as shown here), so in the end I just tried to mask the edge with grass as well as I could. There's also a lot of reeds and other vegetation in the water, but I just couldn't get them to look good in game, so I left them out in the final version. A lot of trial and error, and youtube tutorials was involved in my process

Try the Tour course on very fast and very firm - there are a couple of hard greens on that setting Think pin 4 may be a good challenge, but can't remember exactly what pin is most difficult. Hole 5 and 10 comes to mind.
