Aerial view now that some auto-gen trees are on the course: (note that the area behind the Camiral hotel do not so many trees, but some parking etc that has not been done yet) Everytime I look at this screenshot. Makes me think I should've done a better job and did more in mapping with OSM for Harding. Were those highway roads especially the overpass ones imported or did you do those yourself? If the roads lined up with the Lidar data, could you line up the plot with the roads you have mapped out in OSM or better to line up the bunkers as that's the playable surface?

I have made all the main roads in game. Even a few cart paths was missing (or tagged wrong in osm). Good thing about Spain, is that the aerial images in OSM are accurate (same with Norway) so no need to adjust anything. I do not mark water hazards in OSM either, but I know many do.

Another from the 5th - now more decently planted; notice how the trees on the right side prevents you from hitting that safe draw?

Posting here as well - I published an alpha to be able to play a match against Will - PCS Alpha. If anyone wants to check it out and give some feedback at this point

Posting here as well - I published an alpha to be able to play a match against Will - PCS Alpha. If anyone wants to check it out and give some feedback at this point I gave it a play last night. What a stunning, tough course. My PS5 did crash on me 5 times during the round. I am going to give it another play here shortly. Could have just been a random thing because you said you haven't planted the back nine yet. I'll let you know how it goes.

Played the entire course again today after our match yesterday. We are 1-1 on Legend, but who is keeping score Initial impressions, visually stunning on that first tee and approach shot. Retaining wall work looks spot on. The greens are tough and quick at 187, but definitely playable. Again that "clean" look which I'm starting to see more on how experienced designers go about their projects. If anything, waiting patiently to see the back nine planted 👍

After back to back double bogeys to start the round...lol. I got to the 3rd tee box and the game crashed. I'm not sure what it is. I know the PS5 needs a few updates but other courses I play haven't crashed. Maybe some other console users can give it a play and report back. There doesn't seem to be an issue with PC play.

Just finished a round with the ghost of @pakalolo77 and managed to come with a 77 as he did. After 4 holes I thought my score was going to be in the high 80s. Damn, narrow, up and down, tough greens etc. But it’s a beauty again. Looking forward to the finished course, but would settle for this one if I didn’t know what you are capable of.
Never had a crash on my PC in this game.

Beta has been published - PCS Beta. nonusehki - hope you give it a go as you have played the course irl Any feedback is welcome I have not yet planted all of the Tour course - but the stadium course should be planted. All tees are also in, and green speed set to 170.

I played multiple rounds on the beta version a couple of days ago, but something came up and I didn't have time to leave a comment, sorry about that. I really enjoyed the course and I loved the planting with the trees especially! Those retaining walls must have taken ages to build. Also I think the bare and exposed ground looked cool under the trees, I've been trying to achieve the same look at some spots but I wish my results would look like this (need some more practice with that). Maybe the cart-paths looked a bit too bumpy and uneven for my liking..? I love seeing the little houses and roads on the minimap on the left of 15th (I think it was?) The clubhouse shape and the area around 1th / 10th tee looked just like I remember it. I definitely remember hooking my drive to outer space on the 1st tee, I love that view on the teebox. I also remember hitting my second shot on par 5 3rd from some really awkward sidehill rough lie on the right side, propably after super-slicing my tee shot. The 9th and holes 11-13 really brought me back. I remember there being a construction site and drilling noises next to the 15th tee, so I also remember that evelated tee shot very well Great job! I love the community for this reason, the chance to be able to play real life courses and experience them again.

As I could see on Mark Crossfield's videos, there are not much undergrowth on many parts on the course, so it is just trees without any other planting. He and his playing partner is all over the place, and they find the ball and hit from the trees. Theme used is the Delta theme. And yes, also on those videos there are alot of construction work going on. I also read that they will change the 10th due to new residental area on the left side of the 10th, so the fairway will be moved to the right towards the 3rd. I needed to decide what to include on housing as the area has been developed each year with new residental areas. For example, on the right side of the 6th down from the 8th is a road with new residental housing. You can see the construction on this on Crossfield's vlog. And my decision is based on the year I have elevation data. They have changed a bit on the cart paths around the 14th green, and there is a road for new residental areas on the right side of the 15th tee and along the right side of 15th - so I guess that is what you heard I have smoothed the cart paths pretty extensively, but yeah, I may be going over them some more.

And after some sculpting: Anders, this is a really nice way to do the retaining walls. What brush did you use to sculpt with after you put the retaining walls in? I messed with retaining walls for over 3 hours yesterday lol. I am going to try it this way.

I messed with retaining walls for over 3 hours yesterday lol. I am going to try it this way. At this hole and course, the water is pretty deep, so I use flatten brush page 1 and slowly sculpt in towards the land. Takes a bit of practice. You can see when you are starting to sculpt beyond the floor on the retaining walls, and that is the point to stop - but I always make sure there is no hard land on the walls as that don't look good most of the time. I also need to sculpt a bit with the fuzzy brush on page 4? on the walls floor towards the land to avoid any glips there and to smooth it out a bit.
