TST still has the Aim marker on, plays fantasy courses, have ghost balls flying all over the place. And do not underestimate the splash shot, which from some videos I have watched of some top players there use all the time - no flop, no pitch - perhaps a chip now and then from close range, else it is splash, splash, splash. So from those videos - I see that those players do not follow the spirit of Ultra Sim.
I would not mind TST to be more Sim at all - and be a place I would enjoy playing and that there would be no difference between USE and TST - that would be awesome.
Even if True Shot is allowed - we should always use it with realism in mind and not overdo it. We are a bit different in our golf knowledge - we have some good golfers in our society, and we have those that have not played golf in real life. As we play more in the game, we may well come up with guidelines on the True Shot as well - to use it as realistic as possible - and if there are circumstances that may be unrealistic.
