When it comes to planting hazard stakes is there an approximate distance apart that designers here place them at?
Also when it comes to planting OB, is it fairly straightforward to get it right? I remember that green at Valhalla that was planted incorrectly and would want to avoid that from happening. Good thing is, OB sections are all straight lines/edges on this course.
Edit: Figured it out ๐

This will be great Top notch designers here and just slowly but surely trying to do the best I can do. Will be good to get some feedback/opinions soon. Every time I think I'm ready for a final beta to share. The more things I see and keep adding to the list!

First Beta has been published as PakHP Beta. There are a few trees missing as I'm having a tough time getting better pics/videos to get a better idea. I tested the entire time on 187 greens, which were quite playable. For this beta they are at 175. The one thing I struggled was getting the right lighting/weather that I wanted. Published the beta, then messed around even more with the weather options and think I found the direction I want to go in moving forward to getting this properly finished and published. Funny how that works after you hit the publish button This will be the Tour version (PGA 2020 pins) at par 70. The 9th and 12th hole will play as par 4s. Definitely up for some suggestions/feedback if you guys have a chance to check out. ๐

Very nice @pakalolo77 Didn't see anything I would want to change, other than my poor short game at the moment. (Played on Legend as always when I practice).

Appreciate you taking the time to check out the course Anders. This is fairly tough course from the tips especially around the greens. As this will be what we play at when we get to Harding on the USE schedule. I few minor changes to be done and itโll be close to finally getting this project done. ๐

TPC Harding Park (Tour) with 2020 PGA pins and tee placements is published. Never quite knew exactly how long it took to do any quality course let alone RCRs. Newfound appreciation for what all the designers to do in getting their courses just right. Learned a lot on this one. The hard way at times. But was never in a rush to get it done. Thanks to all the designers for their help/advice and everyone that gave their feedback on the beta. Default weather/lighting went with afternoon fog coming in off of Ocean Beach onto Lake Merced and the finishing holes at Harding Park. Living here in the Bay Area, it's like clockwork how the fog rolls in. For those that want the fog on the course, can change the time of day to Morning and would simulate an early morning tee time. In the end went with what felt right to achieve that. Green speeds are at 175. Tested the entire way at 187 and are playable for those that want quicker greens. Will be also working on publishing, TPC Harding Park (L), the public course version with the 9th and 12th as par 5s. Along with Fleming 9 soon. Any feedback, opinions and constructive criticism is welcomed. Enjoy! View from the Lake Merced Recreation Area 5th hole 16th green 18th

Will, I just gave it a play. I really enjoyed the course and had to work hard for even par. Great job on your first course! Congratulations! ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐ค

Edit: I see now he made the comment in the Completed Courses forum. Well, this can still be here I think.

The help from Paddy, Anders, Wade and fellow designers during the process were huge in getting the course to what I wanted it to be. Since Anders took up "My new project" have to think of something else for the next course thread
