I’m amazed how designers can create RCRs and capture that environment when you play your rounds. Get the same feeling like I’m back home in Hawai’i when I play Wade’s Mauna Kea. I’ve never been to Mallorca and those ocean views with the Lighthouse in the back drop was really cool to see. Didn’t notice that in my first playthrough. Some really narrow tee shots thru gaps in the trees and hitting fairways with trees lined down both sides make for some tough shots. Certain holes really fit my eye and some didn’t which caused a few bogeys and wayward shots. Played Club de Golf Alcanada three times. Shot -1 -1 and -3, left some shots out there. Only thing missing here was an ice cold Sangria. Well done!

On the final of the European Challenge tour in november, I think I remember the winning score was -4 or so after four rounds. Granted - they had 30 mph wind, so it was quite difficult conditions. I am now working on Himmerland Golf Resort - and these courses will get a major facelift. It seems to me that the terrain takes much less plant-meter compared to 2019, and this plot was much larger since it has 36 holes and two courses with lidar terrain. I have so much plant-room compared to the old game.

Thought to upload a picture of the new Himmerland Golf Resort. I may not practice playing enough - but there are some to be done in the course designer Here is the 7th on the Backtee course:

I have published the Himmerland Golf Resort Backtee course. Going to publish the Garia course tomorrow along with a Tour version. For those that want a challenge - try the Backtee course with very firm and very fast greens and pin 4. You may swear a bit at the 16th - but it is playable and fair..

Saw your challenge and decided to give it a go. This course has a lot of risk and reward to it imo. Narrow landing areas if you decide to bomb it off the tee. I went with that approach and got lucky. For some reason, I prefer faster green speeds that are like you said playable but fair. Putting stroke feels good as I can just let the ball roll out more so on other green speeds. These greens were tricky in some spots, definitely a challenge. Highlight of this round was the par 5 9th. Hit my 3 wood in between that small gap in front of the green and rolled to 7 feet. Made that for eagle. The hole that finally got me on the greens was the par 3 16th. Yes I swore at least twice with a uh oh in there too lol. Didn’t get it all the way to the back and it rolled down the hill on my tee shot and chip shot. Finally got it right, then made the putt for bogey. Back on Legend again and I will take that score. Thanks again for another course!

Thanks again for another course! That is a great score on such difficult conditions - and a bogey on the 16th on very fast and very firm are great - I've managed a couple of pars on that hole on playtesting, but it can be so much more. The courses has been renamed - which I didn't know until I took a look at the scorecard of the Garia course today. Himmerland Golf Resort has now named the two courses the Old Course (Garia) and the New Course (Backtee). Oh well. Mine is still named Backtee and Garia. Garia published. I would not recommend anyone to play Garia on anything faster than moderate green speed - as the 15th is a bit brutal on any fast speed (some of the pins are unplayable on very fast).

Decided to look up Himmerland as I’ve never heard of it and wow a great golf resort and amenities they have there. Top 16 golf course. Thomas Bjorn’s first win too. Always interesting to read up on RCRs that we play in game. Will give Garia a go.

You called it again anders! Had a chip up the hill from 20 yards. Didn’t get it quite get it high enough and it rolled down to 30 feet. Needed that put to keep the momentum going as I could feel a special round on the line. Wasn’t gonna leave that putt short and missed it just by a few inches. Drove the green on the last, had a long putt that went 10 feet past and made that birdie to almost seal my first clean scorecard for a -5. In my previous practice rounds I hit the Resort on the right twice on 18 in just about the same exact spot. Guests weren’t happy 🤪 Another great track!

Himmerland Golf (Tour) published. I have made some changes to the 2019 Made in Denmark routing - to make it even more interesting imo - and a couple of forward tees on the 16th and 17th.

The 16th is named "Himmerland Hill" and has got a legend status - it was the shortest hole in history on the European Tour in 2016 with 79 yards.

I am on my way to improve Miklagard Golf. But, I am a little bit at loss to how to properly do a wide highway bridge - so please fellow designers - give me some tips to how to accomplish this. The bridge is both wide, and long - with a long drop. I may not have enough plant meter to do it properly either..

If you are referring to a bridge over the highway the only thing I can't think of is to put 2 bridges side by side and run the highway up to both sides of the bridge. I haven't looked at the designer in 2k21 yet except to port courses. If you are referring to E16 that runs along the golf course maybe put some small hills under the bridge supports to raise it to the height you need?

I did find a solution I think. Will be posting picture shortly. I had to plant 4 bridges side by side to get the correct width
