Also I could only find Tour version of Lofoton - have you got one without stands etc? Just would love to play it natural if possible, so scenic without the stadia etc Correct. I have only ported one version of the courses so far, except Pebble Beach. I can easily remove the tournament objects and publish a version without them that is otherwise the same.

Top course I really enjoyed it. Tough in the wind, some really challenging holes with real danger near the greens. Took a few pics which I will post up later.

So good I had to play it twice. I agree with Paul and there were some really challenging approaches shots. All the par 5s were reachable except 18 and even those you had to shape in along with negotiate the wind to get it on the green. Get it wrong and you’re in the trees. Learned that on my first playthrough. Favorites holes were the ones that had the greens tucked back surrounded by trees had a countryside course feel to it. Shot +10 first time and then a +2. Really well done andersnm 👍🍻

Really well done andersnm 👍🍻 Wind is much stronger in this game, I've yet to play very strong but should be more realistic than TGC2019 very strong when we talk about extreme wind. I played in 48 mph wind last year in a society tournament. It was brutal, my 9 iron travelled 25 yards further with a tail wind.

The wind physics and how the ball reacts to certain direction feels spot on. Playing at St Enodoc with very high winds, had to hit straight into a full meter of wind. Clubbed way up but mishit the ball with a slow and it just up shooted straight up and completely died. Just like real golf. Now that I’ve somewhat gotten my swing a bit more consistent. I’ve been trying to hit fades/draws into crosswinds and letting the wind hold the ball and keep it in the fairway/green. It’s the little details like that have me in awe with this game.

Yes, they have really improved the ball flight in this version!

Started my first one the other day. Just the layout and first green. I'm not quite sure how long it takes exactly, as I don't log hours. But I did a rough approximation on TPC San Antonio - and I think I spent ca 70 hours on that. For me, it varies quite a bit - because if I have good flyover videos, it is much easier to get details. Looking over pitctures, videos, compare it with google earth etc and plant so close to reality as possible that takes most time for me. I'm not 100% sure how long it takes to map the course in OSM, that will also vary a bit, but it is quite quickly done compared to polish and plant the course properly. So I reckon you must at least spend 50+ hours to get a decent result - and this will also depend on how quick you are to do the things you want to do in the designer.

It’s a labour of love for sure but it’s great that your setting out on that journey, I’m sure I share Anders, Wade and I can help with anything if you have questions or challenges

I used OSM to map the layout of the course. Now getting and transferring measurements from Google Earth to the designer. Watched a bunch of Crazycanucks tutorials along with advice from Wade. Great to have really good designers with yourself and paddy here to ask questions. Really have an appreciation for what designers to do in these courses for sure. When I get to a point where I have a beta I’ll create a thread here for feedback.

Also ported TPC San Antonio with a few changes.
I am now porting East Lake as well, with the 2020 Tour Championship hole locations.
