TPC BOSTON GOLF COURSE OVERVIEW Originally designed by Arnold Palmer and considered an unmatched Boston golf club, TPC Boston’s award-winning golf course was re-designed in 2007 by celebrated golf course architect Gil Hanse, with PGA TOUR player Brad Faxon serving as a consultant. The result is a compelling par-72, 7,241-yard golf course named byGolf Digest the “Best Private Remodel of 2007.” Lush fairways, Bentgrass greens and 58 bunkers create a superb test of golf in Norton’s Great Woods. While challenging enough for the best players in the world during the Dell Technologies Championship and FedExCup playoffs, five sets of tees on each hole make the golf course enjoyable for the everyday club member and golfers of all skill levels. TPC Boston’s 18th green was renovated in 2011 and the new design was unveiled in 2012. The par 5 now has a smaller, elevated green that is protected by a greenside pot bunker. It has proven to be a more challenging finishing hole for PGA TOUR pros in the Deutsche Bank Championship. As part of the TPC Network and home to professional golf in Boston, you can be sure that playing conditions at TPC Boston are maintained to PGA TOUR-quality standards year-round. Complementing the golf course is a recently renovated practice facility where members and their guests can hone their skills. The facility features a 70,000 square-foot practice tee, two putting greens, pitching and chipping areas and practice bunkers. TPC Boston offers members and guests caddies to help make your round enjoyable and guide you around this championship golf course.

Off and running at the Northern Trust at TPC Boston. Beautiful course that plays tough. R1 my putter was red hot. Shot -8 for the round and missed an eagle by an inch on #18. R2 once again I can't take advantage of calmer conditions. My putter cooled considerably I shot -1 and -9 overall. Good Luck to those yet to Tee Off.

First two rounds from me was not good golf. First round - I felt like Viktor Hovland - missing putt after putt just on the edge. Second round was much better putting, but a couple of big mistakes - like the approach on the 2nd - after a very good drive, 214 yards to the pin - I needed 206 to carry the water, a little tailwind.. that is 4 iron.. right? Apparently not. Wind not helping at all - waterball. -3 at the halfway point.

I finished R3 and R4 at TPC Boston. Very tough putting track! -3 and -2 to finish at -14. I did better in R1 than my last 3 combined lol.

Round 3 and 4 was more of the same for me - bogey free 3rd round -4 and -3 on the last. -10 total. Medium tournament for me - not great, but not disastrous either.

Round 2. I decided to play this round late last night and somewhat rushed things, note to self, don't do that again!

Went -8, -5, -8, -8 for -29 overall.....sorry GW_Hope, got ya by a shot with a 2 putt birdie on the 72nd hole. Geez, my mid-long range putting lines were all over the place. Was lucky to get it inside 3 feet on anything over 15 ft. Pace was good, just couldn't get the breaks 90% of the time. Rd2 yardages were mostly in-between clubs. Back 9 was rubbish. I think first time I've played the course in USE mode, much trickier proposition without green grids. Cheers and good luck all.

Guys, would be good if you could come over and all contribute to the season 3 schedule thread.
3 questions:
1) what were a few of your favourite courses from this season that you would definitely like to see again?
2) were there any you felt strongly should not be used again?
3) are there any other great courses out there you think could be added?

My card for round 4. Yet another round under par, so it seems things are definitely heading in the right direction. This round was really enjoyable actually, really is a great way to play the game.
