Sounds like there is no micro transactions that can improve your player... I have a feeling it might be cosmetic stuff like clothes and equipment and maybe stuff in the course designer. |

Though it does say you can unlock cosmetic items also in the game. Pretty much what we have in TGC 2019 now.

Yeah, I think you will be able to grind to get items, or buy them straight away with real money. And maybe some items exclusive, only real money. Basically going to make the in game credits much harder to achieve without real money, and/or items much more expensive. I'm fine with it if it's only cosmetic stuff. |

Has anyone seen the names of the other 11 golf pros in the game or the names of the 15 new licensed courses lol? Courses: TPC Sawgrass TPC Boston TPC Deere run TPC Scottsdale TPC Southwind TPC Summerlin Atlantic Beach Riviera CC Innisbrook Copperhead East Lake GC TPC San Antonio - Oaks TPC New Orleans TPC Twin Cities As far as I know of. TPC Harding Park and Olympia Fields Country Club are the last two. Thanks yeltzman for digging  |

I feel like most dont care about this, but I’m legit pissed you can’t play as the pros. I used to really like in Masters 14 playing in one of those quick tournaments where myself and family/friends would all pick a pro. It was fun being Bubba vs Rickie, Tiger, etc. Local match SUCKS in this game being your created guy vs guests, when you want to play people at your house. I was really hoping that would change.

It was fun being Bubba vs Rickie, Tiger, etc. Local match SUCKS in this game being your created guy vs guests, when you want to play people at your house. I was really hoping that would change. The last actual golf game that had a great local option was Tiger Woods 2004 where you could play a whole season with friends, I have been disappointed in every golf game since. In Fifa or nearly every single sports game franchise you can play seasons locally with friends. I did try the single player career on TGC2 but the grid wouldn't turn off no matter what I tried, so that put an end to that. Tbh from what I've read Booze you will only be playing against the pro's mapped face anyway and I am not sure you can even tee up with pro's in tournaments (which would appeal to me) just in matchplay skins etc. Can't see the appeal of playing as an avatar (or against in my preference) of a pro's mapped face if their swing isn't in the game anyway. |

Yeah it’s something that I’ll likely get over, but it’s just a little annoying cause I know some more casual golf fans who would totally play this game with me if they were controlling a pro. Really no different than a soccer fan wanting to play as Messi in FIFA or nfl fan wanting to control Brady. Some people just want to be JT and not a created character/guest. I really think it’s a big mistake that they aren’t playable as there’s likely to be an expectation from the non hardcore gamers that they are. But at the same time, there’s no way the pros could be usable online if they all had individual attributes like other sports games. I guess what my wishlist is is for offline mode to have pros with rated attributes (like TW), but online mode you have to play as your created guy where everything is the same like now. |

Just started my career again after not bothering as wasn’t interested. Even though I changed every name to a real life pro for close to the top 200 and some veterans etc.
This mode could be good, if they let you edit the courses. Can do solo society of course, but just not the same. Playing USE rules with the odd cheat to have a look, as it’s not really a USE round. Fun ish.

FYI any PC guys pre-purchasing on Steam.
I was going to wait until shortly before release to pre-order, but you currently get £5 off your first purchase over £30 during the period of the Steam Summer sale (which runs unbtil Mid July).
So if you're definitely pre-ordering but were holding off until closer to the time, there's a little saving to be had by doing it now
