These are the handicaps for all our current members. Handicaps are based on average 18 hole score in the society. If you have a plus number this will be added to your round total for your net score, a minus number will be subtracted. A TAN handicap is acquired after 4 rounds a/o tournaments and rechecked regularly.

General Notice:
The TAN handicaps will kick in after 4 played rounds(*=1 round). Players who have not received a TAN handicap are marked with a red box. After that the hcps will be regularly re-checked by admin. (5 tournaments). The hcps are registered in the society stats and will be the benchmark for future reference. Players who have not yet played 4 rounds will be kept off the handicap leaderboard but are included in the scratch leaderboard. If need be admin will re-evaluate specific hcps in specific cases if circumstances demand further attention. All in all, 2023 is used to fine tune the process and check workability and work load by/for admin. The 2023 hcps will be the basis for the 2024 (handicapped) season.

Handicap reevaluation:
After closer examination TAN admin has readjusted the TAN handicap of 'Jrod211656' to better reflect his playing potential, which has improved above and beyond expectations. His last 4 rounds will be in play as the benchmark to recalculate his playing handicap. This means that the previous handicap of -15 will be adjusted to -5. This handicap will be in play for TAN 56 and on. Later handicap monitoring will be in play if need be until such time the in-game TAN hcp and playing hcp show more synchronicity reflecting realistic outcomes and playing potential.

This means that the previous handicap of -5 will be adjusted to -11. This handicap will be in play for TAN 61 and on. As always, later handicap monitoring will be in play if need be until such time the in-game TAN hcp and playing hcp show more synchronicity reflecting realistic outcomes and playing potential.

TAN admin has readjusted the TAN handicap of 'Weltybeast' to better reflect his present playing potential. Due to serious technical problems and his past level of play it is our view this is justified. His last 15 rounds will be in play as the benchmark to recalculate his playing handicap. This means that the previous handicap of 0 will be adjusted to -5. This handicap will be in play for TAN 2024-04 and on. In this case 'Weltybeast' will remain monitored up and until such time the in-game TAN hcp and playing hcp show more synchronicity reflecting realistic outcomes and playing potential.
