I’m enjoying the event for sure, last I checked on the Fictional event, SirWAde and I duelled out a draw so far far with identical scores but are yet to receive challengers! Get your membership in now if you haven’t already, it’s only a two rounder and Saxondale is a fantastic USE course! Let me know if you need approving Hoping to fit this in Friday evening 😁 |

Somehow managed my best round in the tough conditions of round 3 ,pretty much struggled in the other 3 rounds.Was cruising in round 4 on the front 9 but then had back to back bogeys on 10 & 11.Pars rest of way till 18 where I managed a birdie to just sneak ahead of Gav on current PS4 leaderboard,cheers.

jeff and I finished the final round live. I started out with a hole out eagle on #1. Then I gave it right back on #3 with a double bogey. I thought with mild conditions I could take advantage of the course. The course wasn't having any of that! Jeff crept ahead of me with 2 birdies. Then he gave it right back with a triple bogey on #6. We both fought hard the rest of the round just to get under par. We both birdied 18 to finish tied at 2 under par. I finished at -11 and Jeff was -7. This was a beautiful course but the greens were nasty!

Was trucking along nicely in R3. -1 thru 8, then missed a careless short putt for bird on 9. Then did it again on 11 and got cranky. Full on detonation on 12, had a 4 putt double bogey then when I came back today to finish up had a 3 putt on 13. Limped home on the par train to finish +2 for the round, -6 thru 3. Leading Sam by 3, needs me a good last round.
Bloody fucking shitcunt whore of a game... Shouldn’t have listened to all you guys saying I had Gav beaten... Bastards 😂

Round 4 and the threesome is myself, andersnm and unclevirt . Anders starts off with a hot putter, and somehow he and I have the better of the Virtman through 3 holes. I chirpped 4 of my first 5 for a very heady place ahead of both these great players; #6 took care of that with a moist double Humph. At the turn Anders and I hold a slim one shot advantage over Virt, but we both know it's only a matter of time. Anders kept grinding while Virt caught him on 12 (I had already fallen off thanks to a Humph on 10). 13 flipped the script; Virt chipping in for chirp (chipperific!) while Anders wrong sided himself and 3 jacked for the 2 shot swing. Anders when ultra aggressive on 15 and got damp leading to his own double Humph, all the while Virt surges further ahead with a chirp of his own. I got aggressive with my second and managed to find the far left side of the green, two putting for a chirp from 92 feet. Another chirp on 16 and I am only one back of Virt! 17 the tables turned again. Anders and I found the putting surface on the short par three, while a gust of wind ballooned Virt's tee shot, making it come up short and trickle back into the drink. All of a sudden, I am walking off 17 with a lead on the venerable Uncle Virt! Can I hold on? Will Virt rally? Will Anders care?? 18 saw three well struck drives dissecting the fairway. Virt is first with his approach, striking a laser to about 18 feet for a possible iggle. Anders is next, he goes deep but dry over the green, a very playable chip left. I hit a perfect 6 iron...perfect if you were looking to be close but still go for a swim! Gutted, I am forced to flop from 47 yards away. I come close to holing it, leaving a 2 foot tap in for par. Anders gets up and down for a closing chirp, a nice -1 card well done sir! Virt barely missed the iggle, settling for a tap in chirp and a halve with the worst lefty PC USE player on the TGCT.  What a thrilling round. Thanks for the game fellas, now I need to lie down. Onward! |
