Round 1 and Round 2 at Merion East. Great course and very challenging in 2k23. Quite a bit of slows and fasts. It's also been minimal warmup and practice as of late. Probably played my best when it mattered at the end of Round 2 trying to chase down Simon on the PC Leaderboard.
At 3:09 mark in Rd1 video. Had a partial 3 wood into probably one of the toughest par 3s and would throw Mauna Kea's par 3s in the mix especially which I think is also hole 3 on that course. Got lucky with the slope 😉

US OpenThe first major of the season and it was 2 horse race on the punishing greens of Merion. Any score under par is great but we had 2 exceptional tournament performances by the winner Hendomedes on -15 and runner up Rastaman4K on -12. Smijti is 3rd on -2. Low scores was an exceptional 62 by the champion in round 1.
