Too tough a course for my level of play especially the 2nd round but i did at least finish found the 2nd shots really tough too many times thought i had hit good shots but did not get the correct result.
Was planning to play week 5 but i must have missed the deadline so played this instead.

A disaster on the very tough 11th hole, whoever designed that green was a madman. Plus 2 to finish even par for a tie with penknight. |

In round two I was chugging along again till whatever green it was gave me a triple bogey. I hit it within 15 feet to the back right. I hit the putt and it rolled slightly past the hole and all the way 80 feet down the hill to the rough. I chipped it back up within 8 feet of the hole and it rolled back down. I putted it up the hill from there and it rolled down again. This wasn't the only F-ed up green/pin on the course. I think I was 4 over on the front and 2 under on the back to get me back to even par after starting 2 under. Whatever... good game meyo ... good game. |

Some inconsistent play last two weeks for TST and USE. Haven't been able to practice but luckily the short game keeps me in it to offset those wayward shots. Waaay too many shots in hazards and holes that led to big numbers.
First albatross in 2k23 came on the par 5 13th. Front nine had quite the opportunities. Dialed in some partial pitch shots from 40-45 yards away. Got lucky on some of those MacKenzie tiered greens.

Got a couple holes adding a bit too much to the final score, but happy with the result of +7 Not sure what it is, but I seem to do better in USE than what I have done in TGC True Sim, might be I'm a bit more relaxed playing USE settings. My putting without grids have improved since I first tried True Sim (no grids) with only a few holes going +3 or more. Some of the greens were very challenging, and I had problems with the putting camera not going down to the ground on some holes. Nice challenging course |
