Came over here for my double dose of PAIN. The first round started off pretty great as I was 3 under after 5. Short Lived Dream of catching Tuff as REALITY came crashing down. 10 Pars and 3 Bogeys later, I was cursing this society once again. Even after my clean scoring, in round number two, I just felt horrible. Love/Hate Relationship with this place. A lot of Mother F this and Mother F that during both of my rounds. Mother F Meyo and Mother F Hammer and F this Society and that about sums it up. Oh, and F the Rain and F the Rainbows in my second-round background. You would think my Birdie, Par, Eagle, Birdie Finish would make me feel better? Nope. I'm gonna get my behind handed to me on this course by MEYO and HAMMER. Good Game Fellas. I'll try again next week. (lol look how dark the second-round picture is compared to the first round)

I should do better this week because this is my design from tgc2019,only thing is i have a course file with the recent changes to about 6 or 7 holes which will confuse me a little, have to remember to get my rounds in on Monday, I do love a bit of Formby i always have trouble on the 2nd hole for some reason.
only 29 shots back of the leader on xbox in week 3,hopefully can cut that a little this week.

You obviously haven't been to the UK and witnessed that dark blanket of cloud we get when the rain kicks in No, but I have lived all over the US. Maine, New Hampshire, Seattle, Portland Oregon, Pittsburgh PA... and a few other places that are way more sunny. When I was younger, I traveled over 50,000 miles all around this country and have been in all but Hawaii. I even worked as a fisherman in Alaska, for a season and experienced the 6 months of darkness. I currently live in Las Vegas. I've seen plenty of dark, overcast days. I lived through plenty of thunderstorms and snowstorms. The question is, if all the darkness, is good for a golf video game or not, IMO that is? But whatever, make it darker, make it windier, make it as hard or easy as you want. I'm still gonna play. Not many people are going to play real life golf in those conditions and many courses may not even let you on the course. Heck, many courses won't even let you golf in Jeans and a T-Shirt, lol, let alone inclement weather. But I am one of those crazies that would play in darkness, rain or even lighting storms. And have done so, when I was in my teens and 20s. I even played golf, for free, with 6-foot snowbanks all around the course with bright yellow balls. And I played some goofy stuff, back in the 80s, where you play at night, with glow in the dark balls. I'm a nut.

In real life it is awesome, I have played in 50mph winds and torrential rain, the worse conditions you can have and still enjoyed every minute. My society has 40 members that play every tourney only because that's the limit and we have a huge waiting list. We want a sim society here not a replica of TGC Tours or the real life PGA Tour. I have taken over a bit with the schedule but I am sharing it out to members this season as it gives more variety. Paddy suggested this weeks course but I picked the conditions as he is at the hospital with a new born soon so we will all wish him the best and congratulations. We do have a close knit society here but everyone is welcome to join the family and you Pen are very much part of that family now And if there is a course you love and you want to set conditions, I will pencil you in to season 2.

Formby has always been a personal favorite of mine. It looks grand and gives the impression of just relaxing golf, but it has some tricky (but true) holes. And if one is hitting good shots the course will reward them. Otherwise, par becomes a strong challenge. Excellent! design as always.

Good start for the Liverpool Championship, a couple of blemishes but generally happy with my round.

Don't think i have ever played a better set-up course True sim or ultra Sim than this one Formby, Gave 3 shots away over the 2 rounds on the 4th which should be a birdie hole, Better news got my first ever eagle playing this way, again slight improvement but John Drove me mad saying it was impossible to catch the leader on every tee in the 2nd round so enjoyable for me this week.

The rain softened the greens in round 2 and I took advantage. Highlight of the round was the 125Y Eagle on hole 14.

Played Round 2 with Meyo and he is really starting to get his game together and play some great stuff, left me for dust in this round. My long game was very patchy, would of been over par for the round if my putter wasn't so hot on the back 9, even managed to hole a really long par putt on 18 to tie penknight on -7
