London Hunt and Country ClubThe Hunt Club is a parkland course in the truest sense, and presents a brilliant walk over rolling hillsides and through picturesque river valleys. No two holes are the same, and even the nines offer a different look, the front traversing land with intriguing elevation shifts, while the back nine wanders toward the flowing river before emerging back in the parkland for the final stretch. The club has hosted the best in the world. Sam Snead played the Canadian Open here in 1970. Thousands turned up at London Hunt in 2006 to watch the LPGA Tour, and major champion So Yeon Ryu charged to victory eight years later at the club where a young Canadian named Brooke Henderson was the low amateur. Name a significant Canadian tournament and it has likely been contested at London Hunt.

Thanks for doing the write up for this Paul, hope everyone enjoys the course I've picked , it's a challenge 👍 I enjoy this sort of thing, but I can see why not all the True Sim junkies are jumping at the bit to play over here. I ran a quick practice round with the Ultra Sim Settings of No Vibro, No Shot Set Up, No Shot Feedback, No Grids... etc. etc. I shot 3 over par and hit the water once. My first impressions of the course/settings are that this is more difficult than Plat for 99.99% of the player base. Is that a good thing? Yes, it is, for me and the crazies like me who enjoy this sort of thing. But not for most of the player base who are the whiniest bunch of crybabies I ever seen in my life lol. We don't really want them over here anyways, do we? Keep up the good work. Make next weeks course and conditions even harder. I like it when I shoot 35 or 47 over par!

I mean I could be wrong about this but IMO Round One, Hole 8's Pin Placement, is a problem. Without scouting this out, you could be in a world of hurt. Even if you scout it out and know about it you still could be in big trouble. Yellow Fast Downhill on top of the hole is a challenge at best if you are on the wrong 3 sides of this hole attempting a putt. I know, I know... scout it out and don't mess up your approach shot, lul. EDIT: Same problem with 9 and 10. Yellow Fasts all around the hole/pin lol. 18 has a similar issue, not as drastic but still a problem where if your 4 feet away downhill and you tap it and miss it will run downhill at least 10 feet past.

View AttachmentHey pen Yeah hole 8 pin in the 1st rd is very very tricky , I know it's close of being very naughty and that's why I chose soft greens to start it off , for me it's started to roll back down but it held there thank god 🤣🤣🤣🤣 , myself and paul( hammers) had a cheeky test on rd 2 conditions and it played great very testing but was good and very emotional as it was the first cross platform game , Paul could hear me but I couldn't hear him , we couldn't quite work out how to do the mic . Regards to some of them true sim junkies not coming over Pen imo is that there not really true simmers they love and swear by the aiming marker and the vibration to help with there putting and partials that's semi sim . I think we're the true sim junkies . Good luck Pen for your 2nd rd and no plus 40 talk 😆

Round One in the books. Finished at 2 over par. One of my putts on hole 8 literally went up to the right and around the hole and back down the hill to the left and finished close to where I first hit the putt. I know... my fault for not putting the ball in the hole. I had a difficult time with my swing this round. Couldn't really hit anything flush. Found the water on hole 10 but managed par. Too wiped out to even consider round two. Congrats to Meyo's Round One and his never-ending chip ins!

Great improvement from me this week, found the lighting on the 2nd round tough in places again shadows and tempo and my eyes not great for me on xbox one but very enjoyable Forgot to say considering it's a real course a little surprised to play the 3 par 5s all downwind in the 1st round.now not sure if that's a wind bug it can happen or its designed like that a bit unusual

Round 2 was a bit better, the pins were more forgiving…

I totally agree with you about the lighting in this game. It must be our Monitors or TVs because nobody listens lol. The worst is when I'm on hole one and its bright and sunny, the game looks great. By the middle of the second hole a cloud covers the sun and for the next 17 holes my game is medium dark at best. I play through it but you definitely feel the difference. I like changing conditions but for this game I prefer a sunny afternoon and clear for every round. Is that bland, yes but this is a video game after all. The worst is when you have darkness and a course filled with dark shadow from a tree filled course. I've literally turned my monitor up to 100 brightness and the round is still dark lol. Like I say, it's a small gripe and I manage through it but this is one time where I want the same bright lighting in every round. Whenever I play a practice round and I play many of them, I always have it set to sunny and clear. I love the realism of this game but the lighting doesn't translate to the real world IMO. Once again, small gripe, nobody is going to stop using dusk, morning and light cloud just because I keep crying about it The best is when they use the rain!!

I don't have a problem with the lighting at all, I actually think it is so much better than 2k21. I do play on a very good OLED screen with HDR, I think the lighting looks fantastic. I do realise it isn't the same for everyone and tbh when I turn HDR off the lighting looks very flat and colours washed out, if you get what I mean.

Round Two is the same story as two weeks ago. I was charging my way back to taking over my rivals and getting the outright lead on PC. I was 2 under par for the tournament with 3 to play. Just needed to go birdie, par, par. But, it was not meant to be and bogey on the last par 5 coupled with a nice double on the next par 3 was tragic at best. And 3 putting on the tenth par 5 wasn't exactly enjoyable either lol. I ended up 1 over par for the tournament. Round One +2 Round Two -1 Total Score (+1) This is the most aggravating tour that I currently know of for this game. I barely bring back the putter and the ball rolls 40 feet. Whatever! Two Weeks running I lose, to Meyo but beat Hammer. Meyo leads both Rivalries. MEYO vs PENKNIGHT = 2-1 MEYO vs HAMMERS1MAN = 2-1 PENKNIGHT vs HAMMERS1MAN = 2-1 Not that I'm counting or anything. These are not official records. You may want to recheck my math.
