Did some searching and found this video on YouTube. Followed everything in the video in OBS. The HDR output of 2k23 shows up in OBS. The only thing is when you hit start streaming or recording. You get the message: OBS does not support using x264 with 10-bit formats. In his video, he selects the 265 version for AMD and NVDIA would be NVDIA NVENC H.265. Currently have the option for 264. Tried to do a search for NVDIA NVENC H.265. NVDIA video codec sdk comes up. This part I'm not very technical to understand this. Maybe hammers1man could help out. I think we're fairly close to getting it to record in proper HDR. Ok I was typing all this out when I went to the comments section. Scroll down to this comment. -Mike hildreth: evry time i start stream it says "cannot perform 10-bit encode on this encoder" Followed step by step from there and was able to record in HDR. Like Paul mentioned, Twitch will not stream in HDR. But maybe it's possible to stream live on YouTube? Reason being, when I go back to change back to Twitch. It says "it does not support the encoder NVDIA NVENC HEVC" I'll have to test YouTube tomorrow. It seems like it's a lot to do but really wasn't. At least it's closer to giving an option for those that want to stream rounds on PC in HDR.

It is possible to stream from OBS to YouTube Live. Only thing that you need to do is request for that YouTube account to go live. After verifying account, you have to wait 24 hours then able to stream live.
