Round 1 and 5 over after 3 holes. Then started getting used to my new PS5 controller. Much better after that and loving the feel of the controller.  |

Tbf I’m convinced now that as much as I like the Xbox Elite 2 for feel, I’m sure it hampers my game! I was soooo much better on PS and the more I read about Xbox polling and their related controllers, the more I think there’s something in it. I’m definitely not looking for an advantage but just to get back somewhere near my performance on PS4 for the long game, I was about 65% FIR and 75% GIR on PS but I’m now 45% FIR and 60% now on PC. I’m tempted to buy the RAZR controller as it looks really good and is still shaped like Xbox, I tried PS controllers in the past but after a life on Xbox I just can’t stop swinging diagonally despite trying for weeks! I’m not looking for straight shooting gimmicks like the Power A controller as I swing pretty straight anyway, just want to cut out some of the random tempos I seem to get! Looks like the new game on legend could be a good leveller for the different consoles / controllers, will be excellent if we had more cross play competition here this new game, it’d be even better if HB finally let us play ghosts across all consoles too! I’ve missed playing with Colly and Wade from time to time although you’d both kick my ass right now! Charles and Paul are good ghosts for me on PC now but I often play earlier these last few weeks so have had to play solo on my rounds! |

Cheers Wade will look into it, just concerned it might trip TGCT API, I’ve heard Scuf have some previously whilst RAZER have not, I wouldn’t use a controller on here either that isn’t TGCT approved, not after an edge, just not sure the XBox Elite is working well for my swing! May not be as much of a factor in the new game anyway, excited to find out as I do love everything else about that controller! |

I have owned every XBox controller for PC. I bought the Series X controller and was my favourite controller to hold,just love the ergonomics . Got to the point where tempo just got frustrating and was actually going to stop playing the game. Decided to give the DS4 a go as I have one for the PS4 Pro, like you I struggled with the stick, I would get some big pulled shots and with putts also. But I practiced and really got used to it, probably as good with the stick movement as my Series X controller now. The battery is pretty much gone so have to play plugged in and the stick is pretty loose now. Decided to get the DualSense and I can say it is the best controller I have held in my hands, ergonomics are absolutely fantastic. Very well built and a really nice weight. The stick feels great, it actually feels nothing like my DS4. I think this is my go to controller for all my non keyboard+mouse PC games. I can see why Wade loves the feel of the controller. If you haven't had a chance Paddy I would suggest giving the DualSense a test, I am really glad I bought one. |
