Teed it up with my good mate colly ! Had a great time strolling the links on this beautiful course. Very tight 2nd round! After we finished up the tournament we stopped at the clubhouse for some pints! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 R1  R2  Pitch on the final hole of the tournament |

I think payed this course dusk to dawn to try and shoot a USE 59, spent a whole day on it! 61 was my best in about 40 attempts! I could and have played this course all day, it’s just iconic! Great score Wade, that’s right up there! I’ll be happy to break 70 after a lay off over two rounds

If the R&A still think it's about golf and not money, the 150th Open should have gone back to Prestwick. I know these days its about crowds and business but i was shocked when i designed it how good a course it is.Still think the 9th green little unfair in game. This course one of four of my designs i only really play now on the 1st tee always think of old Tom and varden really strange.

Could the course hold the crowds and is there a reason it is not on the Open schedule? |

Don't think it could hold many these days, but like i say is it about the golf or the Money,it's the same with Royal Cinque ports course good enough to hold the open but no room for crowds.
Also it's a bit like when they closed Old Tom Morris shop at St andrews and rebranded it to a Open Shop All wrong,it does make me smile a little when people talk about LIV golf money and it's just as bad close to home.

Went in cold again and my poor start show it, played much better after the front 9 of round 1, my partial pitching was very strong throughout. Excellent course.
