Cypress Point Golf Club Cypress Point Club is a private golf club on the West Coast of the United States, along the Central Coast of California. The club has a single 18-hole course, one of eight on the Monterey Peninsula near Monterey. The course is well known for a series of dramatic holes along the Pacific Ocean that have been named as some of the best in golf. The course opened 94 years ago on August 11, 1928; Byington Ford, Roger D. Lapham, and Marion Hollins were trailblazers for the project. The course was designed in 1928 by golf course designer Alister MacKenzie, collaborating with fellow golf course architect Robert Hunter. Set in coastal dunes, the course enters the Del Monte forest during the front nine and reemerges to the rocky coastline for the finishing holes. The signature hole is #16, which requires a 230-yard (210 m) tee shot over the Pacific to a mid-sized green guarded by strategically placed bunkers. Cypress Point Club was ranked #2 on Golf Magazine's 2011 List of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World and #5 on Golf Digest's 2011β12 list of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses. The golf course is considered one of the most exclusive golf courses in the world. Non-members must be sponsored by a member to play. From 1947 through 1990, Cypress Point was on the PGA Tour as part of the multi-course AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, founded by entertainer Bing Crosby. It was dropped from the rotation because it had no black members and refused to admit one to comply with the tour's anti-discrimination guidelines. Since then, Condoleezza Rice was admitted as a member of the club. While no longer part of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, many of the players continue to visit the course in the week leading up the tournament

Thanks colly , hammers1man and charles56. I was having a round for sure. It would have been one to stream on twitch. I had a good 2nd round going until I plunked it in the water on #16. I walked away with a triple bogey lol.

That's gonna be hard to beat Wade. Well done. My -3 was riddled with too many pars and a dummy spit 9. Bring on next week.

Great score from Wade this week, my game is not good atm. Just seem to be more interested in the new game and how USE can move forward.

Commanding victory from wade by 6 stroke over Eddie, Simchars 10 strokes behind in 3rd. Low round a brilliant 60 (-12) in round 1 from Wade.
