I know we just played this course in TST a few weeks ago. This is the upgraded version by the same designer. Thought it would be nice to try it. Green Eagle Nord Opened in 2008, the Nord Course, which has been called the Porsche Nord Course since 2018, covers a total of 86 hectares and has been designed from the outset to meet the needs of international professional tournaments. With its 7,057 m length of Champions tea, it is the longest place on the European Tour and is one of the 10 longest courses in the world. In addition to the lengths, the element of water represents one of the greatest challenges of the modern and unique Porsche Nord Course. 17 lanes are designed with water hazards, which accompany the fairways partly from the tee, along the beautiful fairways, to the green. Strategically positioned bunkers close to the greens challenge every player at the highest level. According to the course rating of the DGV, the Porsche Nord Course from Champions-Tee is the heaviest course in Germany.

Superb course this and a real challenge. Round one, played great for about 12 holes and about 6 with awful course management and poor shots that were costly. 6 birdies and a round of 6 over. Round 2 the absolute opposite, great course management with 4 birdies and just the single bogey. Had the putting problem I have now and again with the push putt, with about 3 on the front 9 of round 1 but managed to get putter going after that. Also happy with my approach game and hit some really good shots very close. Good test this course and nice to shoot 3 under par in round 2.

Smashed out my rounds Sat arvo before the real golf starts. For a long course, plenty of course management required....it's a great USE challenge. Some off tempo at the start but recovered to -4 in Rd1. -5 and -7 and Rd's 2 and 3 and great to good tempo consistently. Birdied first 2 holes in Rd4 before I got the hooks and some really tough pins, not to mention moderate winds that felt a bit on the strong side. Ended up -2 for the round and -18 overall. Cheers

A 9 stroke victory for Tuffguts in Germany with a fantastic -18 score. Low round is a 65 in round 3 by the champion.
