charles56 and myself first to tee off this week on the beautifully lush Tralee. Charles played some great golf and was just a bit undone from the 12th hole, we both played 17 and 18 birdie, eagle

Thx for posting hammer. Congrats on excellent round. Indeed, i fell apart on 12 LOL and needed to regroup. Looked shaky after that debacle but could pull it together luckily LOL! Birdie-eagle finish good way to finish. You played solid. Good course too.

Round 2 started with 3 bogies and with charles56 playing some great stuff had the pressure on to catch him but missed my eagle putt on 18 to tie .Well played sir and a good battle on the links. |

Thx for tagging Paul. Just watched the 2nd round. Some good shooting! You played to win!LOL. We had a chip-in fest on 12 for birdies. On 13 disaster was looming for you but great recovery!! Your drive on 15 was very gutsy  and just missed eagle WOW! On 17 we both struggled (i thought i was done for there) but the 18th saved me again with an eagle. Fun to watch back!  |

Well would you look at that, charles56 is a joint winner with SirWade at Tralee on his very first tournament of Linksland Series 1. Hitting the range and those practice rounds has paid off nicely, well played Charles. Low round a very nice 66 in round 1 by Wade.

Well, i'm in good company LOL! Good playing all on this tough links. Some treacherous holes out there. My game is here, there and everywhere most of the time and like most lady luck has to look in once in a while. Really like Links Land. Have renewed my membership on the USE-Master society too. Will try to play more these days. Played so much live multi player there was no room for society play. Have tweaked that a bit now. This game still keeps me coming back for more. |
