I'm 3 shots off the lead in 12th at the halfway point on euro this week. Had a lot of good starts followed by blowups, across ALL my various societies recently, so I'm sure a blowup is on the cards 🙄 Keep it positive Leon! It will turn around. Thanks mate. Just super frustrating to be feeling like my game is in good shape, to have multiple good rounds, and runs of birdies, but then it collapses at some point. It's almost worse than playing all-out crap! My collapse at green eagle really bummed me out. One of my favourite courses, played great for 2 and a half rounds, especially the uber tough round 3, where I was playing such controlled golf, and then collapsed. Argh. |

Am self isolating the next 2 week while trying to lay 60 square metres of wood flooring in my house. Might jump between PC and PS4 as I have a bit more time on my hands.

 I really like these par 3s, nice break from the usual. I sometimes have a hard time with soft/slow, but didn’t hurt me here. Or perhaps my ugly golfer just prefers the dark....that could be it. |

Just ground my tits off for an E in rd1, two chip ins, one for eagle on 8 and a flop in from long left on 9 (was going off the front if it didn’t go in), a 1 iron off the pine straw on 13 followed by a three putt for par and I was just glad to get in, so many 10 footers holed for par!

Just shot 30 on front 9 of rd2, absolute scenes!
Hopefully can get in without a blow up!

Unfortunately it ended with a 3 whack on 11 after a cautious approach, continued to stripe it but putter was cold now, still managed to birdie the two par 5s and even managed a birdie on 18 for a 64. Absolutely delighted with that! I’d say that’s be best USE round by a mile but I reckon one of the guys will threaten 60 in rd2 as it’s gettable for sure.
I’ll pause my play there I think, see you boys at the back 9 on Sunday!

One round you MUST score on to be in contention, and then 2 or 3 classic Augusta rounds where you're surviving and hoping to take the chances that come. Round 4 might be attackable with low wind and the back 9 pins, assuming they're as usual on this version of the course. |
