Sorry about the weird setting where it chooses club but not full/chip/flop etc. I'm not used to setting all these things! I'll learn!  I've just played the first few holes to make sure it's all working, everything else seems fine. |

Done my 2nd round sirwade59
Only one bogie, really happy with that. But didn't make enough of my birdie opps. only 1 ahead of you at the halfway mark.
The 18th is a b**ch! Saw your birdie putt just miss and then keep on rolling past 15ft! I managed par this time after my double bogie putting blowup in round 1.

Finished up with rounds of -3 and -4 to finish -13 overall. Pretty happy with my 3rd and 4th rounds. Fewer bogies, but also fewer birds. Lovely birdie on the last to finish on a high Wade I badly wanted one, but missed my 7 footer! Fun tournament to kick things off, hope more join in next time! I'll post the two man leaderboard on Sunday  |

I finished my first 2 rounds on Sand Hills! Very tough track. Two points of advice. 1) Bring your most prized putter and 2) Pay close attention to the shot the caddy wants you to hit. Also, when your approach shots are way off, it helps to be lucky! (see video)  I took myself out of contention with a Blunderous (not a word but suits me) third round. I dropped all the way to (+4) early in the round and worked back to even par. I was a perfect lob wedge flopping distance off the green. My caddy told me to hit a normal lob wedge shot, so I did! I lost focus after that. I can't even follow my own advice about double checking my caddy, lol. I'm not sure why some courses do that. Oh well, Onward to next week! Good Luck to others that decide to play some extra USE rounds!  |

I played all four rounds at stoke park. I never could get anything going in the first round. Finished at -16 for the tournament.  I hit a spectacular shot for eagle on the 456 yard, par 4, 12th hole. I was fighting some slow and very slow swings today. My tee shot ended up way right behind some trees. I ended up punching it out from the rough with a 2 iron. |

I would suggest, tentatively, that shots from use extra tournaments should be eligible for shot of the week??

Little suggestion Leon, if you want to get more people to play the extra tournaments. What about a couple of 2 round tournaments each week. A 4 round extra tournament might be too much for some. I won't start a tournament I know I can't finish but might jump into a 2 round one if I have extra time. Good way of testing more courses also.
