unfortunately my course was not accepted by TGC Tours and I didn't get an explanation. Oh well, at least we can still play it. "Mauna Kea Resort & G.C. - not approved Essentially exactly the same course as Pakalolo Reef which you submitted a week ago. Certainly an identical first hole. Only one submission per publish, please." I would send Matt or Ben a message over there and sort it out. I remade holes 2, 10, 13, 14, 16 and 17 from scratch. I'm pretty sure there were at least 2 more but I can't remember which ones without playing both courses. I also added all the houses and redid all the lava rock areas that look like mulch. I don't know who Matt or Ben are. It's ok, if they don't want it in their database it only hurts them. I think more people would search for Mauna Kea that Pakalolo Reef. It's a shame because it was my best work overall I think.

I would imagine they would be receptive, not that I know who they are either!
Not sure if courses can be removed; but seems like suggesting they remove pakalolo and add mauna kea is the way to go 👍

LOL, I can't even play my own course. I shot a (-7) in high winds on R1. Then with great conditions in R2 (low wind) I shoot a (+2) for a (-5) total for the tournament.

Wow what a lovely course really enjoyed playing it, with the challenge of the wind also. Those par 3 are brutal and long, you will walk off the green happy with par on all the par 3's. Course chewed me up and spat me out for a 78 in round 1, poor driving strategy and putting tbh and short game under 80 yards. Noticed I set high wind for the 2nd round by mistake, guess I'm a sucker for punishment sorry SimChars1968. Played much better in the second round with a better strategy off the tee with the 3 wood and 2 iron, was going along nicely and managed to miss a 3 foot tap in on 14 by lack of concentration and a tough putt 3 putt up the tier on 18 for a 72. Well done Wade your hard work has paid off, really nice course and lovely looking also

What are we saying PS4 boys, give those PC boys a "moral" HCP of +1 or maybe +2 for high wind in 2nd round?? Scores don't matter THAT much. We can all compare, but it's not a serious competition

Well done Wade your hard work has paid off, really nice course and lovely looking also Thanks Paul, I'm glad you enjoyed the course. I tried to make it as close to the real course as possible. jeff had a good point, he said it was the first course he had played with long par 3s and par 5s and short par 4s. Here is a little tid bit about the course One of the most popular golf courses in Hawaii, Mauna Kea offers superb views of the beautiful Kohala Coast. Since it opened in 1964, this course has set the standards in terms of beauty and design excellence, cementing its place as one of the most scenery-filled and favorite courses in Hawaii’s golfing history. Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior from a topography of barren lava rock, and later updated by his son Rees Jones, this award-winning 18-hole, par-72 course has played host to some of the greatest names in the game. The elevated greens and prevailing trade winds put a premium on approach shots if they are to land accurately on the greens. There are many memorable holes at Mauna Kea. The par-3 third hole is the signature hole and is located, like the eleventh, at sea level. On Dec. 8, 1964, the "Big Three" of golf -- Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player -- christened the Mauna Kea Golf Course, by playing here for a televised match. This date marked the official first day of play on this challenging course.

Here is my card for Round 1. Not fully focused because I was watching West Ham's game, resulting in many little mistakes. I even forgot to take a screen shot of the card!

I'm assuming if Ben opened up your second file and was able to instantly recognize it as your other submission, it's probably too close to warrant it being considered two unique courses. The course being omitted from the database doesn't mean it's being deleted from the game. If you're worried about the community missing out on your course, make a thread in the completed courses section.

Yep, cracking course Wade! 👏
Liked the way the really bright and manicured fairways and greens contrasted with the natural surroundings. Really nice job on the mulch/soil too. Holes are solid golf holes, course plays great.
It's quite similar to a fictional course that's a well liked and with a lot of plays one, but I don't like that course too much because, like so many fictional courses, it's just way too cluttered, as the designer tried to cram more and more stuff onto the course. That's what this course avoids. Trees are perfect, not too much else going on, let the holes standout for golf reasons. 👍
Nice job mate 🙂

Played a round to warm up for Sawgrass. Matched Wade's -7, with one really annoying bogie where I tried to ram in a birdie putt and went 30ft past 🙄

I shot +5 for the second round at Mauna Kea. At least I am consistently bad!
Very nice course I should think, on a slightly calmer day!
