I have always wanted to play links golf Mark but have never gotten around to it, my society is playing a links course with a 2 day competition at this great course in September . It hosts the regional qualifying for the Open at St George's and hosts the amateur championship, can't wait to play here www.princesgolfclub.co.uk/That’s a fantastic course Paul, you will love it.I consider links golf to be the true game. You must be able to play a wide variety of shots especially if it is windy, which it usually is 😁 I played in close to to 50 mph winds last year whicj is quite an open course and The Oxfordshire a few year back which used to hold the Benson and Hedges International on the European Tour in the 90's. I still think the very strong tail wind was the hardest shot I have had to play. My 9 iron was flying 30 yards too much lol. Love watching Links on TV and I'll be playing the nieghbour course to this years Open Championship 😁

Would love to play a four rounder at the old course if possible. I still haven’t played it under USE conditions.

Whatever the hardest courses are, I want to play them! I think we just play real courses, but if not, 4 rounds at Susquehannock sounds like a blast lol

I'd be up for 4 rounds at susquehanock.

Are we decided on st Andrews?
Wade, can I make you admin for setting up events? I can probably do it tomorrow, but would be good to have you as backup...

Yes, I can be a back up. Never done it before so might need a few pointers. Cool. You are now an admin. You go to schedule, press square button to set a new tournament, and then set all the conditions. There are some things that are easy to forget, like leaving it on short tees, making sure you change it to 4 days, and the pins going 1-2-3-4 etc. I will talk you through it, but that's the basics. It's pretty easy and common sense, but also easy to forget one thing! I'll set st Andrews tomorrow, and we can talk more about how to set tournaments

Bit late in the day, but anyone got any suggestions/requests for next tournament? Doesn't have to be set immediately tomorrow anyway, but I'll just whack a tournament up if nobody else has a say. I might force Paul to enter by doing a 2 rounder

Always up for trying new courses. I'll set it up tonight, or more likely tomorrow.
Maybe 2 rounds on the this new Scottish one, finishing weds or Thurs, and then another 2 rounds somewhere else. Maybe another par 3? What other good par 3s are there anyone?

Finished watching my film, and still have the place to myself, so I can set up the next tournament. You said "based on" Rosemount? So is this an RCR or not?
Might have to do cypress, and wait for you to let me know on this one. Sorry to be anal, but I just want real courses for this one.
Eventually, I'm going to use ezzino's amazing real courses database to pick courses, but it's a huge list and people keep suggesting, so I haven't needed to so far...
