Glad everyone else loved WBC. I played it the first day it came out I think Right, we should probably play WBC here then. If it goes on tour next season, it'll still be months since we played it here. Only thing is, trees get in the way BIG time. Did you guys play use on it? How was that? (How about two rounds next week after we've done August par 3?)

I only play with USE rules unless I test things in the designer where I need the grid and I use f10 to view the whole course for review. Yes it is tight with trees, but not much heavy rough that evens it out. Get the punch-shot ready 😊

Will accept you shortly 👍 All members' tastes will be adhered to here I did have a tournament in mind where we play 4 different links courses in a week, and the scores are added up for one final total. The first two I had in mind were Liverpool and Wallasey. Only issue there is it requires a lot of punctual setting up, and for people to be available to get their round for each course done on specific days; either one specific day per round, or could stretch it to 2 before moving on to next course. Anyway, if that's too difficult organisationally we'll do something simpler.

andersnm LKeet6Conditions for Augusta par 3. 2 rounds (9 hole rounds) There’s only two pins and one tee to choose from, so they take care of themselves. I left round 1 as completely default. Round 2 I have low wind, north, afternoon, overcast, slow, soft, moderate. I set it for two days, starting Sunday (my time) and ending Tuesday. Pretty sure I have the setting (no grids etc) all correct but I’ll play this event to make sure when it goes live.

I'm a crap golfer and haven't played any of the really good courses. I have played Southport's muni, and allerton was my local muni. The guy I used to play with has played Formby a few times...

One issue with default everything is that if you do default wind direction and speed, it can be ANY speed and direction for each golfer. It'll probably only be you affected by this, but I'm going to choose a direction and speed for the rest of us, if that's cool with you. So Anders, for PS4 and PC, let's go with medium and south for round 1 ok?

I had Stoke Park end a day early, but since it is just me an Paul in the PC society yet that is no big deal. Set up ******* par 3 with the settings from sundary to tuesday. So lets see if there are some more that want to play extra USE on PC..

I think it's less important anyway, as this is more a social/informal society. If people don't play their rounds, it's no big deal. (But I will make the followup to Augusta par 3 one day longer this time...)

So on Monday/Tuesday, we'll set WBGC19 backtees for two rounds to run from Wednesday to Sunday?
Could we fit 4 rounds in still, or shall we stick to just 2?

It hosts the regional qualifying for the Open at St George's and hosts the amateur championship, can't wait to play here www.princesgolfclub.co.uk/
