I had a nice start through 3 holes with 2 birdies and kept playing pretty well through 15 with a +2. I was confident with my drives so I went to 16 feeling good and then put it out of bounds, lol…The wheels had come off with a +5 on the final 3 holes and finished with a disappointing +7…..after the double on 16 my confidence was slightly shattered…I then got to the green in 2 shots on Hole 18 and messed up the Eagle putt and then had trouble getting my par and finished with a bogie…oh well, it just proves every shot counts in golf and you have forget about a bad hole and move on to the next shot.
But the main thing is I improved my play and feel confident for Round 2.
