We are in England this week, and play Hero Open at Forest of Arden Golf and Country Club.
This is a hotel and golf resort that is operated by the Marriott Hotels and Resorts. The resort has two golf courses, The Arden and the Aylesford, The Arden is the championship course that has hosted tournaments on the European Tour. Both courses was designed by Donald Steel.

This is a course I am usualy happy with par on master difficulty. However, there was just two holes I made big mistakes - and I was not happy with my three putt on the 18th. Out of bounds on the second, and big miss right in the forest on the 9th:  |

Round 1 I was in at -1, could've been better. Then round 2 was +8 on the front and battled back with a -6 back 9 including eagles on both par 5's. Puts me at +1 at the turn, 5 strokes back of longpole |

hammers1man . Pin positions have been the same on all of my 3 rounds 🤔 That has happened before unfortunately. There is very little we can do anything about it at this point, but round 1 pins was the easiest in my opinion, so PS players will get quite a benefit from that. The only option to get every pinset for PS is if we have a spare society that someone sets the rounds up really quick and let every PS player in there to play it. I finished +9, not happy and not too upset. |

It is quite easy to miss it, and very seldom has it happened. I think a default 1-4 pinset when adding rounds would be a good thing from the game - worth to mention to the HB devs. Good play so far - I see you play much more now, also on the TGC Tours, Linksland, Pro and Master Tour  I found the Arden course to be a challenging course in a good way - punishing when making mistakes off the tee, and interesting play all rounds. |

I think a default 1-4 pinset when adding rounds would be a good thing from the game - worth to mention to the HB devs. Good play so far - I see you play much more now, also on the TGC Tours, Linksland, Pro and Master Tour I found the Arden course to be a challenging course in a good way - punishing when making mistakes off the tee, and interesting play all rounds. Had a binge today Anders which is rare for me. Had a mare on Spyglass, that wind on that course is brutal, though I hit some great shots to find my ball wet had to give up because of total frustration but will finish the tournament.. I actually hit the ball better with masters clubs on USE this week. Decided to give TST a shot as I was in the mood today. |

Yeah, wind is the big challenge on Spyglass this week combined with some firm conditions Think it shows that Pro isn't that easy as many says it is, for the majority of us normal mortal players. |

Sweet. Forest of Arden. My boss played this course last year. Only about 30-40 miles away from where I live, I’ll need to give it a go one time.
Unsure if I can play this week but fingers crossed I’ll get some time to fit my four rounds in!
Nice pics Hammers. 2018 was baking hot. I remember getting a plane to Budapest where it was 30 degrees and upon coming into land Buda was green and I remember thinking I can’t remember seeing any green for a while lol. Weird brown summer that. Don’t get too many of them.
