Don't know if everyone has seen - the new game patch further tweaked the swing mechanics- RF/RS is slightly more forgiving now and they fixed the bunker splash to be more forgiving as well (Master settings in particular) - i.e. no bunker 'duffs'
I know it's pretty much a moot point as season 4 has started - but I actually prefer master settings.
Will probably be dealing with a new game for the next season, but I would throw the consideration on the table to having just one tour and leave the difficulty set to 'OPEN' so players can choose to use Pro or Master. USE is a small enough group anyways and I don't think it would be much difference since all the other aids are off anyway..
Just a thought..

We could have Master Tour on Xbox as well, but it requires another society. However, I don't think "Open" is a good idea - that leaves us to choose Beginner if we want to. I know we have honor, but well.. and yes, the difficulties have a difference. As I said in the Master Tour thread for Mill Ride - I think it was a wise decision to include a Pro Tour, and for me Pro is still the correct difficulty to simulate Tour golf. I am just not good enough in this game - so my scores have been, and will be around and above par on Master difficulty. No shame in that, but the changes makes the game fun again also on the higher difficulties, which is important. The hard edge between the zones isn't that hard anymore.

I'm pretty sure you can restrict so nothing below pro can be selected, but I have not verified that

Huge improvement, master plays as well as it ever has. At least long courses wont be a total grind on master anymore. zzfr33b1rdzz I did ask a Xbox sim player if he was interested in setting up a master society for xbox unfortunately he wasn't. I really think you would enjoy the courses we are playing on the Master Tour, this week and last week 2 great course from Paddy. GreyOsprey could you set up a Xbox Master Tour society and make Jeff an admin then he can set the schedule and conditions?

I do, and always have, enjoyed master over pro - even with the recent swing nerf. As I am set as admin of the USE Pro Tour - a society that I did not create - I also cannot 'leave' it - so not sure if I can be admin of 2 societies. I think I still have the option to create a society though - so I will see if I can. If so, I'll go ahead and create the events starting with week 2 (which would be shortened to end Saturday) and then full Sun-Sat events going forward. GreyOsprey - hold off on creating a society until I figure out whether or not I can create one for master - unless, of course, you want to create and administer it.

You can be admin in as many societies that you are a member of.

I am not sure how many societies you can join at one time but you can only be president (creator) of one.
