My scores for The Ascot Cup. Played some very nice stuff there. The last round could have been something very special, I put one in the water for a double bogey on one par 3, and only a par 5 on the last. Stil happy with the score though. Great week  Lead on the Pro tour, and third on the Master Tour so far. |

Guaranteed that par 3 was the 11th, I used to double that every time IRL, horrible little hole, water front, hard pan under large trees long, very easy to hit first shot long to be safe, then chip it through the green into water or chub chip short due to fear. Awful but very pretty hole |

Calibrated after round 2....this is round 3. That's enough of the Masters experience for me. It seems to be a frustrating experience on master difficulty on Xbox. As you were on PS4 before Shawn you have experience of the two platforms. In my experience I find both Xbox One and Series X controllers wildly inconsistent for tempo and I have used Xbox controllers on TGC games for years. Not till I recently changed to a PS4 controller did I find I actually have quite a good consistent tempo on this game. I don't know - but round 3 and 4 for me were bad... could not get any tempo going.. maybe it was the conditions, maybe just the game giving the big FU.. At any rate - GreyOsprey had a 3rd round like me.. first 2 were decent - then the blow up for the final 2. My 4th round was probably more out of disgust from R3 to give a crap.. |
