What a really nice job by skunky on this course. I had just about everything happen in this tournament. A bogey to start the tournament. Then a holeout for eagle on #2. A 52 foot putt for birdie on #18. I took two trys getting out of a bunker and finally got out on my third attempt. R2 I was tied with colly going to the 18th tee. I hit an amazing iron shot to within 4 ft of the pin. I made the birdie putt. A pressure packed tournament for sure. I was very lucky to get to -3. I played the Gold/Silver Titleist's in R1. Then I switched to the purple Taylormade set (3 gold wedges) in R2. I forgot to save my scorecard in R1 so I'll just post this. R1 holeout for Eagle on #2 R1 52 ft putt for Birdie on #18 R2 Approach shot on #18 |

First round from charles56 was superb, I didn't play well in round 1. Nice to see him back on the fairways. Second round a part from a nightmare place to be on the green on hole 2 I played pretty well apart from the last holes. I don't like greens this fast (187) for a links courses and the second green was just frustrating, top course that would play more realistically with greens that are in the 160's or 172 max.    |

Greens were left at default. Yes I know Mark, not complaining just highlighting reasons to skunky why I would always like to play links courses with slower greens. 187 should be US open greens fast. Superb course. |
