Anders is away up some mountains.
And he hasn’t done his intro for next weeks course.
It’s in France. They played the Ryder cup there. In 2018.

I chose this one and was ever so slightly concerned some people might not love it. It's not perfect in places, but I do feel it captures the course pretty well, and the closing holes are awesome, in my opinion... |

Started off with a -2 and was thinking is unclevirt playing the same course as me? Gave him 6 shots by the end of Rd1. Really had issues reading greens on mid-range putts. Too bright with light coloured greens and some of the subtleties of the breaks were frustrating. Also struggled (probably because I was playing fast) with picking the lines off the tee with blind tee shots. The aerial map often didn't show the tee box so didn't have the point of reference of the player. Kept pace in Rd's 2 and 3 with a -7 and -6 but fell away with a -4 in the very strong winds on Rd4....and I was rushing a bit. Anyway -19 total and shot of the week contender in Rd3. Was going to set up PS4 first thing today, but found it already set.
It seems it might be ending on Thursday/Friday though...

Apart from a VF on 2 (par 3, water left) that lead to a double, pretty happy with round 1. Holed 80% of mid range which definitely helped. Won’t post scores so it’s live for XB folk.

Nice course. Good selection Leon 👌🏻. If ever a course was perfect for match play this one is it. Plenty of chances to attack or play it safe. Whoever chose it for Ryder cup did a good job.

As always, it’s in my past streams. I did use follow cam a couple of times while the ball was in the air because I didn’t have a clue whether I’d aimed ok, but I never saw a ball land. If anyone watches and think a penalty is in order let me know.

Then had a 6 foot eagle putt on the 3rd, I think it was, walked off the green with another double. Round 2 started horrendously!! Drove straight into the water on the first then 3 putted from 3ft on the second (naughty pin but my own fault as didn't even look at the putt as it was only 3ft) can't remember the bogey on 4 from there I was just battling to get back to par managed to sneak under in the end but that's my challenge over
