just wondering if anyone can tell me what there cpu temperture is when they play this game.i think mine is too high.59c at idle ,and 85c in game.just sounds to hot to me. would like to compare to others.

Those temps are very high. What CPU do you have? Also this game is more GPU intensive so doesn't work the CPU too much. I'll find out my temps and get back to you. |

My CPU is 31 degrees idle and 53 degrees under load in game. This is an air-cooled Ryzen 5 3600XT.

My CPU is a Ryzen 9 3900X 12 Core with included Wraith Prism air cooler.
My temps are 38 to 44 degrees idle and about 72 degrees max in this game.
Outside temp is 16 degrees so add a bit of degrees to your CPU temp the hotter the room is.

intresting,my system is a intel i7 9700k, with nvidia2080super, the cpu is watercooled.the room is around 85 degrees . i rechecked at idle and was at 52c and under load in game 82c. this is after i reapplied thermal paste. so.theres something not right about these temps i need to see if my watercooing has quit running.
i noticed this because the game was running choppy even at 120fps,i think the cpu was throttleing.

I don't think your temps are too high considering your room temp is nearly 30 degree Celsius which is pretty warm. Regarding framerates what settings are you using. Do you have vsync on or off in the game . What is your monitor/TV refresh rate? |

so after reapplying artic silver,ive been able to get it down to 49c idle and 72c under load,much better,i can tell a great difference now in the way the game runs.thanks for the replies.

so i continued to have problems with overheating,until i uninstalled windows update 21h1, i rolled back to 20h2 and my temps dropped 60 degrees.for some reason 21h1 made my cpu work much harder in the game 70 to 85 % peaks,20h2 only uses 10 to 20% peaks and puts most of the load on the gpu now!so warning dont update to 21h1.
