Round 1 was one of those rounds where you feel like you deserved a better score.Unfortunately golf doesn’t work like that & a couple of errant shots can cost you.A couple of short putts missed as well & what could have been a very good round becomes pretty mediocre.Enjoyed every minute though 😎🍻🍻

Round 1 and trying to keep up with colly . Front 9 was a mixed bag of good and bad. It stabilised on the back but a hooked 4 iron on the 16th and a missed 4 footer on the last put me above par. Seeking revenge tomorrow!   |

Strong finish to my 2nd round including holing a 30 footer for birdie at the tough par 4 finishing hole.Very happy with my total of -5 for the week in the proper links conditions of Muirfield 👍😎

Final round and no revenge.  Not sharp enough striking the ball, not sharp enough around and on the greens. Taking a pint of bitter in the clubhouse with the leader colly (again) before hitting the driving range.  |

Really nice course. I couldn't putt and finished the tournament at +3

Missed a load of putts by a fraction, good news is I hit some great pitches from all distances and my tempo is good on all my short game. Was a struggle but one I enjoyed on a great course with tough conditions. Great round from paddyjk19 and the all the more impressive because he didn't drive the ball well. He holed a lovely birdie putt on 18 for a fantastic 67. 76 from me and I played pretty well just need to get more practice rounds in.  |

I love Muirfield. Tough and fair course, But a bit too tough and fair for me this week. Overall my play was a bit off. In the first round +12. In the second round I played the front nine in even par, but could not keep it up, and finished the round in +7. Below the PC leaderboard at the moment.  |

Here's my two Linksland rounds for the week. Tough course. Even tougher landing areas around the greens I thought. Well I was playing from the rough  Still really enjoyed Muirfield this week. A few too many mistakes to give colly a run along with a cold putter. Good signs as the pitch game has started to show improvement with decent distance control. Will need that for the US Open.   |

Would you believe it another very short bunker 9 yards and a very fast fluff again for a triple 7. My advice is to slow that transition down for those short splash shots. I hit the ball really well just some silly mistakes, I do feel the game coming together and I wish I played my round here first before Torrey Pines.  |
