Looks like red fast bombs off the tee could finally be a thing of the past šš In a way this makes me really happy as people who learn to dial in with red fasts are gaming the system bUT I had also got good at adding a little distance or losing distance with fasts and slows on my irons so Iām going to have to find a new system!

About friggin time, there should have always been loss of carry distance from a poor strike. If they were gonna fix it for this game why did it have to take so long.

The red fasts off the tee with the longest driver is the one which I hate.Completely takes away the two way miss & gives extra distance. Also making forgiveness irrelevant.

Playing all four rounds with drumming guy last week I saw what a massive advantage it was giving him.

I have not tested this yet. Going to see later tonight, but from what I read it is just distance penalty?

Lower ball flight and loss of carry distance for red fast.

The carry distance is less the further away from the tempo box, great stuff š

I think they should do something to slow as well from what I read, to also get that progressive less distance from perfect.

It seems to be the ideal fix as I can still use tempo to shape ball but only in the grey area which is nice.
Good to see it finally happen!

Just had a little practice; Grey fast is no distance penalty. I got the same distance on my drives as before, and just a slight increase in distance on my wedges and irons, and a grey slow is a slight less distance on wedges and irons as before. Red fast on drives on the misses I usualy get, is at most 30 yard less - pretty much the same as a red slow (which I almost never get). I did not test red misses on wedges and irons as that is not a problem I have. However, I did test pitches, chip shots etc - and this is going to be the most significant changes for us I think, because a red fast on these shots looses a ton of distance. So it gets very important to have good tempo on the partial pitches etc.
