Played quite nicely from tee to green in round 1 but missed several shortish putts which cost me a good score,cheers 🍻😎

Round 1 on this nice piece of golf land. Playing with me today was roggro . He had a few too many putts, but it really pleased me to see a very nice pitch and putt to save par from a very tough place. And a question - you believed you had the driver in your hand at the 18th tee, right?  I played fairly well, but had to save par with a lot of pitch and putt. The only bogie was a 3 putt on the 9th. That stopped my roll of birdies.  |

I played my second round in +6 for a total of +11. wimigbg will be happy to know I had a great pitch shot from 40 yards which I converted for a birdie. My long game was not that bad. I just left it on the greens with my chipping and putting. I hadn't played this course before, but a very nice course again we played this week. |

Really struggling with my game as of late. I started off well on the front nine in R1. I had a clean card and sitting at -3. I made the turn and the wheels came off. I dropped to +1 but managed to birdie #18 to get it back to even par. R2 I got it to -1 until I came upon hole #8 (I think). I was just off the green and tried to pitch up from about 20 yds. My ball got within a yard or so of the pin. Then I watched it roll right back down to my feet. This happened 2 more times on the hole. I took a quad on that hole. I finished up at +4 for the tournament. I teed up with colly on R1. He was making some great approach shots. He could have shot a spectacular round, but I counted 6 missed putts from within 8 ft. To his credit the holes on this course are quite tricky. I did have one pitch for a hole out on the Par 3 #6 hole in R1.  |

Final round and it's me and roggro again! Had the biggest bazooka (Titleist driver) today and only missed one fairway to my surprise. These pin placements really protected many holes this round. Had several approaches towards the pin but rolled away or off the green. And now I saw Roger's pitch and putt for birdie. I pitched inside you ball, but missed my 5 footer for birdie. But the one that stung was missing a 5 footer for eagle on the last. But can't be unhappy with a 65 and a final -10.   |

Forgot to save my R1 scorecard. Too many wayward drives to the right and a few hazards. A couple s word shots mixed in there too. Able to scramble fairly well but the driver has definitely been the weakest part of my game lately. R2 and tried to make a run at wimigbg. Brilliant front nine. But after making the turn those back to back bogeys stopped any momentum of trying to catch him.  |

Started by letting my finger slip on the first hole when putting for the ball to travel 2 foot. I played really well tee to green, tempo was very good just couldn't hole any putts from 5 to 10 foot. 58% medium putts say it all. Should of birdied the last 5 holes in round 2, even missed a 3 footer for birdie on 18. Need to hit those putting greens.   |
