Played the par 5’s well again but that’s about it. @sirwade had one blow up hole ,otherwise was very steady 🏌️👍. Magnificent recreation by yeltzman 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻,Thank you for all these superb links courses 👍🏌️ |

Round 2 at majestic Turnberry and paired up with our new friend roggro . I had an eye on the leaderboard all the way and was behind andersnm and paddyjk19 for a long time. Then Anders dropped a couple of shots, as did Paddy. I once again played for the fat parts of the fairways and the greens to avoid double bogies and rather have a tough 2 putt than an impossible pitch/chip. Didn't succeed all of the time, but most of the time. Had a 46 foot birdie putt on the 16th and was afraid to 3 putt when 1 shot ahead of Paddy. Holed it and celebrated with a bogie on the next.  Roger prefers (as I did in the beginning) a flop shot to a partial pitch it seems. I now think that it's a harder shot than a pitch when he flopped one uphill from a wild area to 2 feet, haha. Happy with a 69 and -2 at the finish.  |

Played these rounds on Saturday when I was strugging a bit with my game a bit. Round 1 4 under after 7 holes then total collapse, round 2 up and down front 9, terrible back 9's for both rounds and the less said about hole 16 the better . Lovely course.   |
