After the latest update I changed the settings on my standard PS4 to 60 hz and there is a massive improvement to how silky smooth the game is now running for me.As well as my 2 decent opening rounds in this weeks open de Espana I have fired 2 silly low scores in other societies both under full USE settings including no shot feedback.
2nd round at sawgrass in this week’s TST event.

The new Booze for sure. I got major stutters on my PC, but as long as they don't appear in my swing I don't think that I can blame anything on them unfortunately.

Try dropping both sky and cloud quality in the graphic settings I get 25+ fps more on average from 45 to 60 fps to 75 to 90fps just by dropping those settings from ultra to high and every other setting on max. I turn off DOF as I don't like it in this game and bloom also doing that might also give a few extra framerates. Fog shadows is a big hit on performance, any setting with the word shadow normally is. If you are running the game with vsync you want to hit your monitor/TV refresh rate with fps and over to stop stuttering.

Coming from many years of flightsimming, not uncommon to have high FPS and stuttering. I can live with it I think.

I am sure there are ways around to fix it if you are not getting low framerates of big drops in framerate. I did have problems after patch one with game breaking pauses in the game, but it runs smooth as butter since another patch. I don't get a single stutter/ framerate hitch whether I hit 30 fps or 100 fps, though I do have a VRR monitor so refresh rate and fps are always in sync. Do you get this stuttering also with Vsync turned off?

In flightsim the graphics are far more complex than in a small, fixed world of a golf course, never had stutter in other than flightsim. And not even there anymore, since they changed to Vulkan.
