Had the pleasure of joining @sirwade for round 2.We would have made a great betterball team.I work out we were 10 under combined,this is nearly good enough to give booze a game 😂

Round 1 for the Linksland in. What a great course! Trying to put myself in the mix with some solid rounds put in by wimigbg and colly so far. Solid tempo to start, lost it a bit with the driver on the par 5s on the back. I can see how addicting streaming can get. A bit more added pressure I'd say. But I do notice that it slows me down and more thought goes into each shot. Not ready to post yet when I go live though lol.
Figured out how to get rid of the help buttons in the stream 🤣 |

Round 2 with andersnm . I tried hitting the fairway and missing the fairway, nothing could get me going today. Anders unfortunately grabbed his ice cold putter today. Made myself very catchable. Thanks colly for these wonderful links courses, they are my true love.   |

Round 2 in the books. Starting to hit a few more hooks with the irons. Finding it tougher to dial in the tempo compared to the flare right. Just need to slow the downswing a touch. Easier said than done with this game. Was all about the wedges in this one however. The 82, 92 and 105 yards are probably my favorite distances/clubs. A lot more forgiving than the purple wedges I use to play. All thanks to Booze for sharing his set. Don't think I could go back to the old ones.  |

Round 1 with wimigbg who scrambled his way to a great 66. Bad start for me 2 over after 3 holes but managed to play some really good golf (8 birdies in the next 14 holes) with a fine display of longer putting for birdies, 40% long putts holed. Shame to birdie 18 but a good round and just 1 behind Mike. Really nice course again. As we head back to parkland style courses it's nice to have links competition also  |

Bit of a grind on the front 9 as I was hooking too many drives. Not really hitting the ball close so the birdie putts that dropped were from distance or from well played par 5 approach 3woods. Putter got hotter on the back 9, tricky fringe putt holed from 13 foot on 10 followed by 38 and 29 foot holed birdie putts on 11 and 12. Clattered the pin on the par 3 15th tee shot but missed the 5 foot birdie putt. Hole 18 the 23 foot 1 ft downhill putt somehow stopped on the lip of the cup. Really enjoyable course to play, my links golf is getting much better thanks to these tournaments.   |
