I was -4 heading to the back 9. Then I missed 3 putts inside 5 ft. A double bogey and bogey. I snapped my putter then had to finish the round with a 4 iron as a putter. I finished at -1.

Round 1 was a success. Some lucky bounces but a few missed birdie putts inside 6 feet. My best score in a USE round.

R2 was a +2 and +1 overall for the tournament. Very poor showing by me this week.

You can feel my breath in your neck wimigbg! I'm coming to get you! My putter was on fire this round - and chip ins, well, I barely missed a couple early on, but I can't really complain.

Round 2 and stronger winds and faster greens. And the challenge from andersnm ... I think it was Ian Woosnam who believed a putter only had a limited number of good putts. Well, Anders didn't change his in time. I must say I'm surprised with my game. Every practice round now feels like crap, but USE tournaments and suddenly I can score under par. Go figure... -11 and leader in the PC clubhouse at the moment.

Been reading up on everyone's Linksland and USE rounds. For some reason the WiFi in the hotel room that I was in, did not want to hold a decent signal for a couple minutes at a time. Which made it quite irritating as I'd be playing my society rounds and it would disconnect.....alot! Tough to get into a flow that way. Transferred to another room today and looks like we are good to go for some 2k21 π Played both my Linksland rounds at Wallasey. Some great play by Mike and Anders in R1. Great to see that PC Leaderboard stacked at the top for both USE and Linksland. Forgot to take a screenshot of R1. With the PC Clubhouse Leader wimigbg playing some fantastic golf, was set to try and track him down. Second Round lighting struck twice early on with back to back eagles. First one a wedge from 103 yards and the next hole a bomb for eagle from 48 feet. Three putted for bogey on the next hole from 7 feet as I got too aggressive with the downhill birdie putt. A chip in eagle on the 14th made it three for the day. Pitch game hasn't been that great feel wise. But I've missed the heat from the kitchen which I'd trade for any day of the week. Finished at -15 overall.

Can work both ways though, can bring it home or stumble in ππΊπΊπΊ

Well I guess there's good to better and then to Boozer. Need a spaceship to find the Alien colony that shoots that type of golf! π€£

I knew this round was gonna be tough after a 4 foot missed birdie putt on hole 1 , positives is I played a lot of really good pitch shots from all distances apart from 16 which was a meltdown 28 handicapper hole. Still enjoyed the the round watching a lot of really great long putts holed by Anders including a lip out on hole 2.
